:wave: Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.... I was reading the Spirit-filled forum recently, and came across a thread about deception. Someone there linked this article:

I think this sort of thing is really dangerous....I used to follow some New Age beliefs myself, and I'm so glad I didn't go down that path. Once you do, it's hard to get out. I think it's very sad that Oprah believes stuff like that and it's terrible that she's teaching it to her viewers...I hate saying this but it's like the devil is using her to teach a lie to others. :( A lot of people follow her and might adopt this same view just because of her show.
So I think it would be good to pray for Oprah, the authors of these books, and for the audience. There's really not much we can do about this, but our God is powerful and He hears our prayers. I believe in spiritual warfare and that demons are somehow involved in this....but I also believe that prayer works and that its one of the ways we can change the world. The more we pray, the less influence the enemy has on people.

Look at what the Blessed Virgin Mary said in Medjugorje (whether you believe in the apparitions or not):
"The best fast is on bread and water. Through fasting and prayer one can stop wars, one can suspend the natural laws of nature." (July 21, 1982)
