Ok, so me denomination is Reformed - however, my particular congregation is not Calvinistic - so, I can post in the Reformed area - and here I guess, as it seems this forum covers a broader range.
Anyone else feel like there isn't a 'home' forum for them?

I attend a non-Denominations church that teaches Reformed Theology..... I guess that puts me in this one and that one. :)
Your denomination is Reformed but your particular congregation is not? How did that work out?

Knight - we are Reformed. However, not all of our members are strict 5 point Calvy's. We are not Arminian either however. (somewhere is between??) The older generation are Calvinistic I guess, but the majority - at least in my congregation, are not. It isnot strictly taught at the pulpit.
We do hold to much of Covenant Theology though :)

Sounds as if the problem is not with the dissection of PRE, but more with your stance against the teachings of the church you attend. Certainly you are entitled to believe what you want, but I think, it would benefit you more to find a church that you agreed with. Then you could have confidence in which denomination (or non) that you decide on. The only problem I see so far, is the left over threads from PRE, in non-denominational. I wish they could divide the threads up (either by the denomination of the author; or, if it was directed at a certain denomination) and place them where they belong. That way, non-denoms would have a clean home, just like the rest of us. I am in total support of the new forum layout....we finally have our Castle Wittenberg!

ChiRho - I dont disagree with my congregation at all. Infact - I embrace it. I just do not agree with the entire Reformed persective. Like I said - my congregation does not follow the Reformed teachings 100% - but I find the doctrin of my church to be accurate and I am very comfortable with where I worship.
I was posting concerning not fitting in 100% with any of these new forums...dont see how that is a reflection of me 'stance' against my denomination.
I agree with your last statement about the various posts in 'this' forum. Would be good to change the Forum title maybe?

This whole thing threw me for a loop too......I have just decided that I will post and if someone does not like it....they will tell me! Course, that has been how I have looked at it all along I guess. I am like you Hope they dance....Fit somewhere in the middle. Truth of the matter most people do not even know or have the desire to be educated on the Reformation. They just want to be Christians...I sure hope this works! Hey and I did not check but where are the Methodists and Presb?

I don't like that they've divided up different denominations, but I guess you can't please everyone. Oh well!
