Couldn't think of a better title.

For those of us that don't fall inside the major parties (for the sake of this, let's include those which have specific icons), there's only the 'Others' designation, which shows up as the Indy icon.

This is fine, I don't have a problem with it, but maybe it would be possible to add the ability to define one's party (if not strictly an Independent), and for that to appear when the icon is moused over.

For instance, my icon would still be the Indy icon, but I could further add the information 'Moderate Party' (yes, I'm completely serious; I'm a registered Moderate) so that that appears when the icon is moused over, much like how mousing over a person's denominational icon can tell you which specific church they belong to, if they've given such information.

At least that way the hassle of creating scores of new icons for really obscure/small parties that want individual recognition would be mitigated somewhat. Whether it would be displayed simply as, in my personal example, 'Moderate Party' or as something like 'US-Others - Moderate Party' doesn't really matter to me, I'll leave that to the ones making the decision yay or nay.

Neat idea! I was just looking at various third parties last night and came across the Moderate Party, very interesting indeed.

I think it's a good idea- it could also be helpful for parties in countries outside the U.S, which often have multi-party systems.

I think this would be easy coding because the current Religion Icon works like this, you would just place in what party you are involved in as you would , what church you belong to. Nice Suggestion !

Maybe also some generic political icons which aren't country-specific would be good. :)

This feature has been added to the *NEW* Complete List of Requested New Features--- Version 1.0, which is located here: http://christianforums.com/showpost.php?p=44436267&postcount=2

I can not promise that we’ll accept this new feature or that the site could be coded to have this type of feature, but it will be brought up to our coding techies at ChristianForums.com.

This thread may or may not be closed and removed from the New Feature Suggestion forum for the time being, but DO NOT WORRY--- the link for the thread will still work for the coders looking at the new features.

Should you have any questions or concerns about your particular feature suggestion, please feel free to drop me a message any time! Thank you for your suggestion :)
