How does it differ from say, Catholic services or other services?

Whats it all about in general?

Charismatic Catholic or catholic, it's all about knowing Christ and being open to the Holy Spirit moving..It's a passion for Jesus and all He wants to do in your life..It's walking in the Spirit and operating in the gifts..It's flesh dying and becoming alive in the Spirit...It transends and walls or denomination barriers that we try to fit it in..shalom..Kim

Hi guys,

Well being a catholic Charismatic I have found is that we are truly Catholics indeed and we are also open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit that you would find in some non-catholic churches.

But we are verrry catholic though with our beliefs in the sacraments and the Church.

A Charismatic Catholic is a Catholic who is charismatic :cool: sorry LOL couldn't resist!! ^_^

Well I'm not Catholic but from what I gather it's sort of a 'movement' in Catholicism where they have the 'charismatic' gifts of the Spirit...y'know, speaking in tongues, healing, prophesy, etc. It's approved by the Pope - I think (someone please confirm this, LOL)... and the members of the Renewal remain fully Catholic.

yah it's like why shouldn't the Holy Spirit be coming in power in the Catholic Church???

I always thought the Holy Spirit was present in the Catholic Chirch, I guess this is another way to celebrate it.

It is truly the best of all Christian worlds.

We are BORN AGAIN, SPIRIT FILLED, HAND WAVEN, FOOT STOMPEN, BIBLE THUMPEN, TONGUE TALKEN, WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, ROMAN CATHOLICS!!!
