Lost! How to use Buddy and Registration Q.

Hello, First for a friend who has registered, yesterday, She looks for an email confirmation. Would like to log in.
Any info also, I have not been here long but cannot find the list I saw info various uses ..
1, Recieving (accepting) anonymous gifts (clothing) not knowing how to accept them I deleted!

I have A buddy, but do not know how to use this contact system.

This might sound basic, but could there be a special area for New people to refer to, like a reception area ,
especially for info and help. Perhaps it is already here!

you don't have to accept anonymous gifts...the message you get is simply to tell you you've received one...you can delete that message but the item will still be there...

the buddy list simply is a list of your online friends...they will have a little icon behind their name in the members online list on the main page or in the members viewing a forum list....if you click on buddy in the top navbar you get a pop-up window telling you who of your buddies is online and who isn't...

if you want to send them a pm (private message) you can select them by ticking the little square behind the name, going to the bottom of the window and pressing pm users...it works the same as sending a pm to any other user :)

don't know about the e-mail confirmation thing :sorry: normally you should get one send to the e-mail adress you put into the registration form....

as for a welcome area...there is the new members intro section (http://christianforums.com/f124-new-member-intros.html) - which is more for introducing yourself...for questions there is the how to section (which you've found now :)) and the FAQ (link in the top navbar) which answers the most common questions...

If she hasn't gotten a confirmation email have her use the Contact Us (http://christianforums.com/contact)link at the bottom of the page. We have been having activation issues.
