Amen. It's what I just posted in another thread..
Charismatic Catholic or catholic, it's all about knowing Christ and being open to the Holy Spirit moving..It's a passion for Jesus and all He wants to do in your life..It's walking in the Spirit and operating in the gifts..It's flesh dying and becoming alive in the Spirit...It trancends and walls or denomination barriers that we try to fit it in..shalom..Kim

Greetings Church!

I am so happy with how this Forum is going. You are all lifting it up to the Lord for Him to Bless and He has been pouring out his blessings in abundance.

I am so sorry I have not been able to spend as much time with you as I want to.
After being away from home for work 10 hours a day, I have been having doctors appointmens and also trying to do some studying and training for Mod here. I am a Mod in training.
We have also been celebrating birthdays in the family and all that stuff. Al will be having his carotid artery surgery about the middle of February so we have been preparing for that.
It was so much easier when I was 5 years younger, LOL.
I seem to be tired by 8:30 at night. And by then, I have spent precious little time with you here.

So, I encourage you all to keep up what you are doing, spreading the Good News and giving your testimonies.

I sneak peeks from work. Maybe you see me pop in to read a post or two during the day. It would be wrong for me to post much on work time. I just can't do that. If I post it is during a quick break or at lunch.

I hope you all will be patient with me for just a bit longer.

Please pray for me and for Flaglady who is just awesome training me. We are half a world away from each other, me in the US and her in the UK. Just think of the logistics and we are trying to do this by phone.
We truly need your prayers.

I love you all. I wish more than anythng that I could spend more time with you. I will soon.

In the meantime you are all continuously in my prayers.

Hi Dove,

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, we have traveled many roads together---from across the continent :)

Unfortunately the renewal is waning in Staten Island---please pray for a rekindling of our flame.

Mysty,
The Lord has used you mightily with your ministry. He will never leave or forsake you.
You will be right in the middle of stirring any spark into a blazing fire.

Thanks for the encouragement.

...and the reminder...

I do pray on a prayer team, and bring Holy Communion to hospital patients, but I do have a small ministry which does indeed bring God's love to His children.

I make personalized prayer cards for any intention...it started for the sick, but now includes so many personal prayers...for the dead, the depressed, as well as happy ocassions ...a baptism card for every new baby in our parish, people find it so comforting to see their name in a prayer.....

WE PRAY FOR DOVE

“Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” JN 15:13

Dove, may the Lord bless you with His Peace. May you really believe that He loves you and know that He will help you every day of your life. May He send His angels to surround and comfort you, to protect you from anxiety and harm and to bring you His joy.
Spirit of wisdom, guide Dove and help her to be open to that guidance. Help her to truly feel that you are with her always with Your Comforting Love.

Amen.

Don't thank me. It is all about the Holy Spirit and all for the Glory of God.
We are just moving along with His Spirit.

I have a Pentecostal boyfriend who is trying to nudge me into the Pentecostal faith, I didn't really know, what to do. His nudging was not rude or pushy but out of what he considered love and concern. I wanted to be filled with the Holy Spirit beyond belief but I didn't want to abandon the Eucharist either. That is when I felt like the Holy Spirit was telling me to become a Charismatic Catholic. To try to find a Charismatic Church somewhere in my state and allow the Holy Spirit, the Eucharist, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, to feed my soul beyond belief! I feel the calling to become a missionary and to especially work with youth. My boyfriend feels this calling too. Sometime soon I am going to get him to attend a Charismatic Catholic Church with me. It is amazing what the Holy Spirit can do in our faith if we'll just let him. Imagine the 7 sacraments grown even stronger because of this renewal! It is truly amazing!:groupray:

It truly is amazing.

Let me say this.
If the Catholic Charismatic Renewal is genuine, it will always bring you closer to the Sacraments. That is a fact. Over the long run, you will also see that you move into service. Catholics call it "service" non-Catholics often call it "good works".
Works are the Fruit of the Spirit. Check it out.
