The Coming of the Kingdom of God
20. Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21. nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is among you."

I like this verse because it dimonstrates that heaven is also a place on earth. The word heaven literally means place or places. Example: Rev 12:7. And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
I should also mention that the word "messenger-s" is often replaced with the word "angel-s."

bear with me ,im guessing ur interpretation of that verse is that to be a part of the kingdom of God when its finally fulfilled on earth,we have to live like we are in it now?

seems you want to argue.
Are you a witness?

seems you want to argue.
Are you a witness? What do you want to argue about? And no, I am not a member of your church.

Let's revive the thread! I just love the first chapters of the Acts of Apostles. The faith and trust these humble men, who as you recall on the night of the betrayal were at each others throats as to who was the greatest now stand united together against their opposers and listeners. Fantastic reading!

well, of course, revelations 21:3-4 is a favorite for pretty much everyone who's lost a loved one.
But I get very strong encouragement when I read John 17... the whole chapter has a lot of good quotes for discussing doctrine, but the message is beautiful.

One of my favorite verses is
1 Corinthians 6:11 And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.
there was a time I did not feel worthy, Than coming into the truth I realized there was real hope. All those false religious doctrines no longer weighed me down.
God Bless
