I did not know what the word triggolta meant.
i new concord meant agreement .
all it means pastor said is tri three and languages
the book of concord written in three languages
which are
german latin and english.
well now iam a little bit smarter even if i felt dumb when asking

yes but iam almost 60 years old and my pastor must be almost a whoping 20 something.
it would not have hurt so much if my pastor was almost my age.but i think he was born at night , last night and still knows more than me.

Aw, don't feel dumb about it. He was probably pleased that you came to him to ask him...it shows that you're interested in learning and that's always a good thing!

I've been a life long Lutheran and I didn't know what the "fussy-family" test was!! ^_^

The fussy family test is pure genius, it's a catch all rule that basically is just if the guy making the list says you aren't on it, you aren't on it. He can just point to the fussy family rule and you can't argue. It's just a way for him to let it be known it's his list and if you don't like it, go and make your own list.
