Recently, I recalled something that the Lord did (about three years ago). It was father's day, and I went to mass with my family as usual in the morning. Everyone went except for my daughter who had slept over her girlfriend's house the night before, and missed mass. When she came home, I reminded her that there was an evening mass that she could go to. Since my daughter was too young to drive, I decided to drive her to the evening mass and stay for the mass. As soon as the priest began the mass, something extraordinary happened. Every word that the priest spoke penetrated my very mind, body and soul and spirit right to the very core. It was as though the very words spoken were alive in my soul. Especially at the consecration, and when I went up to receive Jesus in Holy Communion, I was so choked up, that I had trouble holding the tears back. My daughter was wondering what was happening to me; but I knew that it was the Lord's gift to me on Father's day. Thank you Jesus, for being so good to me.

Hawko you have been blessed many times by Jesus. I am so thankful to have you here with us and posting.

When I read your testimonies, they usually cause me to remember something that the Lord has done in my life. I just remembered that once something similar ot you happened to me, except it was a bit different. Well let me explain.

A while back I think I had been reading about how the priest represents Christ in the Church. And I had been thinking aobut this for a while. Well one day at mass, when the priest was reading the Gospel, something extraordinary happened to me. It was as if when he read the words spoken by Jesus, I was hearing Jesus speak. It was as if Jesus was speaking those very words right then and there. Hard to explain! But wow, it wasn't like usual reading at mass.

I heard the Lord speak to me the very words of the Bible that day in Church. It was a powerful experience that led me to tears.

Thank you for reminding me of this my brother in the Lord.

These are truly special gifts from the Lord.
I am sure these experiences are given as a testimony and will minister to many.

There are other times when we know in our soul that it is like spreading pearls before swine. Right?

Another reason for discernement.

Praise God this is a safe place where we can share without fear of debate or ridicule.
