when is Passover this year?
Hanukkah snuck up on me this year and I barely had time to send cards to my Jewish friends.
We hope to keep Seder this year.

Hi John,
Passover this year will be like last year and the year before and before that, on Nisan or Aviv 14th :D
But if you are asking on what date on the gregorian calendar, this year we have two Adars so it will be late, starting at sundown on April 19th which happens to be the end of Shabbat.:) It will be very hard to have a Seder this year because of that I'm afraid.
Now would be the time to get yourself a Jewish calendar if you are interested in following the moedim, the bookstores are full of them right now as the Gregorian calendar changes, Borders had over half a dozen to choose from this year. Some also always give the parsha for the week and some even have candle lighting times for that region on them. :)

That's really cool to know about the Jewish Calendars. I think I might try to find one by me. :) Thank you, Lulav.

for the OP... if your the nerdy type (like myself), then visit http://www.bereansonline.org/ and download the moedim software for yourself.
it is easy to install, takes very little space and provides some useful info.

You can get a complete listing of all the upcoming holy days, plus there is a hebrew date converter, plus a bunch of other fun calendar tools including a download for palm pilots, outlook and iCal.
