What does everyone think the ramifications of this will be? I believe that not only will it affect Pakistan but will have far reaching ramifications for the US in particular and for the world in that it will embolden many extremeists and may precipitate more attacks in other countries. I see prophecy unraveling in front of me and believe that this is a time for prayer warriors to intercede.

You could be right, especially if her murder achieves the desired results and plunges Pakistan further away from democracy and democratic reforms.

Of particular concern is the fact that Pakistan is a nuclear power. Can't even begin to imagine what the consequences would be if that technology falls into the hands of Al Quaida, the Taliban, or other Islamic extremists.

The the wave of violence that led up to the assassination and the backlash that has already started IMHO is just the beginning of things to come for Pakistan and the entire area in general.

Things such as this are a call to prayer.

It's going to be difficult to watch the world plunge ever deeper and deeper into the End Times.

It's a double edged sword for Believers...as hard as it is to be surrounded by these tragedies and atrocities...we also know that these are all steps, as you mentioned...prophesy unfolding before our eyes... that bring us closer to the return of our King...our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

I can only imagine how frightening, discouraging and hopeless events like this are to those who don't know Him.
