Humility. Pride. Ego.
One thing that the new seeker finds out to his chagrin is that PRIDE is the master sin of all.
It leads one into all the other vices that bedevil man.
"Pride goeth before the fall" goes a well known saying. Truer words have never been penned.
Pride leads to closing out friendships, pride blinds one to self improvement, pride leads one to drugs, sex, and ultimately to destruction.
How does one with pride, too much self, ego problems, fighting this one?
Many say to pray for it to be removed. One can work on this, but it is hard indeed, for some pride is good. Pride of accomplishments, pride in a good life lived, pride in a happy family life.
But EGO is another issue. Oh, how Ego is a dangerous foe to betterment. How do you deal with this? Is it ever a problem for you in your life too?
