May I ask for your prayers, please?
Here's my situation: I live very far from the Orthodox church; it takes a good 1 1/2 hours to get there. Because of this, I'm unable to go very often. I don't have my license yet to drive there, so I must depend on others to take me. Once I have my license, I will happily commute. But currently I'm having difficulty finding people to drive me there.
It's very important for me to go. I'm not christmated yet, and I want so badly to convert. But if I can't even get there, it makes it so much harder....:sigh:
Please, will you pray that I find a way to get to church?
Thank you:crossrc:

Sure I will. :) When will you get your license?

And of course you know your area better than I, but are you sure there's not one closer? Sometimes there are little mission stations in the middle of nowhere. orthodoxyinamerica.com is a good place to check, or on the Antiochian or OCA web sites.

Er, maybe I shouldn't assume you're in the US. :sorry:

Thank you! And yes, I'm in the US^_^ I've looked everywhere! There are quite a few here, but they are all in the city. I will definitely look at that website, though.

Thank you, thank you everyone. I appreciate your prayers more than I can express.

Aww *hugs* I have the EXACT same problem as you! I live in a small village at university and the only orthodox church is about half an hour and 2 bus rides away!
And I also have to work on a sunday back in my home town so unless I give up my job I can't really go that regularly :(

Every time I go I realise how much I love that church though and how much I want to convert.

I'll pray for you! xxxxx
