I am planning on staying away from the stores. Shopping is one of my least favorite things to do. :D

I'm with you sister. So glad to hear another woman doesn't like to shop...I thought I was the only one on the planet...LOL
Every year I say I'm going to buy Christmas stuff for next year during the after-Christmas sales...and have yet to accomplish it...LOL
Merry Christmas sister!

I am not sure yet. There are a few things I would like to get, especially with the discounts, but I am not sure whether I can be bothered fighting the crowds :P

 Yes, although shopping is not one of my big fav's either we have been changing up our Christmas traditions and are doing things a little differently now which includes shopping the after Christmas sales. ;)
We had a nice simple dinner on Christmas day and let the day revolved around Jesus and enjoying family. Now we'll shop this week and exchange gifts on New Years eve. We'd like to take the materialism out of Christmas and still have the fun and gift giving after all we did recieve the biggest gift of all from God on the day Christ was born.
This way we also get to take advantage of the sales. We'll see how it goes, we tried it last year too and it was nice. My teenagers have asked if we can do one gift or stockings on Christmas next year though so we may give that a shot too.
Ooooh, long answer to a short question.

Second storm in two days is falling now. I've not gotten out of town (and its a small town) since Christmas Eve, and I'm beginning to think the sales will be over before I do.

Don't you guys usually get lots of snow in your areal? We're getting lots of snow here too, just a few inches a day though. A foot all at once is a lot to deal with especially if your in an area where it's not as common. When we got that much snow where we used to live it seemed like the whole world came to a grinding halt. Where we live now not so much so, plows run all winter. By mid Feb I am so tired of snow, but right now it's pretty and fun... LOL

LOLThis is my first full winter in Colorado, and they keep telling me we don't get this kind of snow regularly, especially that sticks around for days on end. Apparently over the past 20 years or so, the big snows come, but the next few days its in the 60s and it melts. That hasn't happened this year, or last for that matter.
I get more snow in Palmer Lake than Denver of Colorado Springs, but I'm at elevation, 7200 feet, and Denver is 2000 feet lower, the Springs about 1300 feet lower. Still, my neighbors say the big snows don't last -- until last year and this. LOL
