Christmas Greetings,

I thought it would be fun to share with each other what we are having to eat this year.

I have Christmas Eve.
I am cooking a fairly Traditional Italian meal. However, in past years, we didn't eat meat on Christmas Eve and the table was weighed down with all sorts of fish. We modify it now.

I am making a huge Spaghetti Sauce with Two big beef roasts and Italian Sausage. By the time it is done, the beef will be falling apart and the sauce, flavored with red wine and italian seasonings will be able to be smelled outside.

I am making a traditional Italian dish called Baccalla. Baccalla is cod fish. I cook up chopped tomatoes, celery and raisins and add the cod fish. It is slightly sweetened with a little sugar, not much. Folks go nuts over this.

Then for my husband I am making a small serving of Olive oil, garlic and anchovie sauce.

All three of these are served over spaghetti.

This year, for dessert I am making home made cream puffs filled with custard.

We will have hot spiced apple cider (very virgin our of respect for family members who are recovering), and all the regular beverages.

On Christmas this year, my daughter in law is preparing Honey baked ham.

Our door is wide open at our house.
You and your boy would give us so much pleasure.

We will be having a Traditional Italian, Catholic Christmas Eve.

You are a blessing, truly.
I grew up with a Czech menu. Spaghetti is my favorite food.

My daughter in law is Czech of some sort, she doesn't know what sort LOL. She loved my Baccalla.

You are actually a wonderful blessing to me. I don't know if I have ever told you that but you surely are.
Everytime you post to me, you bless me and make me feel very joyful. It is such a nice thing to have a friend on line like you.
