A couple of observations on the picture though...
normally kohanim are covered with their tallis...
though I presume they were no allowed to bring
them to the Temple Mount as praying is not allowed
there (to appease the Muslims)-although I know
people occaisionally do manage to sneak in a siddur
or two...
And that the photographer is facing the kohanim, as
one is not supposed to look at them while they
duhain.....but perhaps the camera was set on a self
timer.....

Although Israel bans Jews from praying on the
Temple Mount, they certainly don't seem to
mind Hamas from broadcasting there:

I had a hard time reading this because tears flooded my eyes.

But I have a question, how can they 'legally' go up there without cleansing from the ashes from a Red heifer?

The Temple of G-d will be rebuilt and Israel will be born anew!
Shalom. I suppose that depends on what the Jewish/Hebrew book of Revelation is symbolizing to the Jews/Israel.
Perhaps YHWH has the Gold Dome there for a reason as the OT Prophets and JESUS prophecied the destruction of the OC Temple/Sanctuary and Priesthood.

I view the Bible as all fulfilled for "ME", so perhaps that is why my views differ from Messianics concerning the "second coming" of JESUS, which the Orthodox Jews have no concept of it I am not mistaken. Thoughts? Shalom.

John 11:48 "If ever we may be letting Him thus, all shall be believing into Him, and shall be coming the Romans and they shall be taking away of us and the Place and the Nation.

Revelation 6:6 And I hear as a sound in midst of the four living ones, saying: "choinex of grain of Denarius and three choinex of barleys of Denarius, and the olive oil and the wine no you should be injuring".

denarion (Strong's 1220) occurs 16 times in 15 verses:

denarius = "containing ten"
1) A Roman silver coin in NT time. It took its name from it being equal to ten "asses", a number after 217 B.C. increased to sixteen (about 3.898 grams or .1375 oz.). It was the principal silver coin of the Roman empire.

The day on which Titus encompassed Jerusalem, was the feast of the Passover. At this season multitudes came up from all the surrounding country, and from distant parts, to keep the festival and the city was at this time crowded with Jewish strangers,...........
.......The Temple now presented little more than a heap of ruins

Deut 28:66 and thy life hath been hanging in suspense before thee, and thou hast been afraid by night and by day, and dost not believe in thy life; 67 in the morning thou sayest, O that it were evening! and in the evening thou sayest, O that it were morning! from the fear of thy heart, with which thou art afraid, and from the sight of thine eyes which thou seest.

According to Isaiah 61, the "second coming" is in "Vengeance", not to build another Temple, and wonder how the Jews view this. Shalom.

Open question

How do you think the Dome will be destroyed?
Personally, I think that an earthquake may accomplish the task.

But I have a question, how can they 'legally' go up there without cleansing from the ashes from a Red heifer? same way they did during the reconstruction in Ezra's day and the day fo the Macabees ... you can't hold sacrifices there until cleansed but you can pray ...

I personally don't think it is going to be by natural looking means;
it will have to be done in such a way that there is no doubt it
has been done by HaShem. An earthquake gives the Muslims
and the anti-Jewish/anti-Israel world a reason to say "G-d did
not do it; it was only an earthquake..." or to blame it on Israel....

I have a friend that went up last year, even managed to sneak
in a siddur and some davening, which is forbidden.
They do go to the mikveh before ascending the mount, but
restrict themselves to areas where the Temple itself would
not have stood.

The world will blame Israel no matter how the Dome of the Rock is destroyed. Waiting for a natural course of action will take awhile, however there are signs that the structure is collapsing on its own do to the lack of repair. The only way to ensure that it is destroyed is by blowing it up or bulldozing it down. One may say, "If you blow it up wont that have an effect on the outer structure such as the Western wall?" Yes more then just the Dome will be destroyed however this is a good thing because it will enable us to build the Temple bigger and better, to last forever. As long as the Muslims have the Temple Mount Israel can never rise to what it once was and cannot rise to what it is destined to be. Also when the Temple is built all goy "holy sites" must be destroyed as well for idol worship and false prophets are forbidden in Israel and especially in Jerusalem. Hopefully the Dome will be destroyed in our lifetime so we may merit seeing the construction of the Temple. 2070 will mark the 2000 years since the exile began. I hope that the exile will end long before 2070, who knows maybe the messiah will return before then, G-d willing.
