I had the thought to post this a few days ago but it seemed like the Lord was asking me to wait.
Well now it's like He is telling me if I wait, it will be too late!
boy is Jesus wise and perfect in His ways. I will trust Him, though He slay me, I will place all my hope in Him.
This thread is going to be about doing Spiritual battle.
I have a link that I saw with my spiritual eyes a few days ago. That was the inspiration that He gave me.
This is what I want to preach about: If you look upon this page, you will receive powerful blessings. God will heal you from the inside and His Spirit will touch you inside, upon you soul. What you will feel is the Holy Spirit removing darkness from you.
This is the medal of St. Benedict. It has words written to deliver from any darkness in us.
Look at this link while praying for a healing.
(disclaimer: viewing this page may cause convulsions, seizures and the casting out of demons, view at your own risk. ;) )

How great! I have a St. Benedict Crucifix(well actually have many), but one in particular that I carry with me all the time, to use when praying over people. It is the tool the Lord lead me to use when doing spiritual warfare prayers. I am always in awe of of the results the Lord gives, when we do his work. But one must be also called to do work like this. The bigger the threat we are to satan, the more he tries to attacks. Notice I said tries. With Gods grace upon us, he always fails. Peace and Blessings.

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle: be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devel. MAY GOD REBUKE HIM we humbly pray; and do Thou, Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of GOD CAST INTO HELL SATAN AND ALL THE EVIL SPIRITS, who wander through the world seeking ruin of souls. AMEN!!!
I pray this in the name of the Father and of the Son our Lord Jesus and of the Holy Spirit, and cover and seal it with the blood of Christ. Amen.:crosseo:
This prayer was on my heart to say for all of the warriors of our faith doing battle. For your protection from the enemy.Blessings and Peace.

One of the best speakers on spiritual battle is Father John Corapi. One of my favorite lines (regarding the intercessory power of Mary) he says is "Your mother wears combat boots". Very funny, but very true.

I love Fr. Corapi. He is so strong of a preacher. A real spiritual warrior. I have heard non-catholics say that when they hear him preach, they get interested in catholicism.
I am going to search for some youtube videos and post them soon.

If you answer YES to both, then you'll like this video:

I would like to share an MP3 link with everyone:
http://www.bringyou.to/ScottHahnBAM1990.mp3 (http://www.bringyou.to/ScottHahnBAM1990.mp3)
This is a 1990 episode of the Bible Answer Man, a protestant radio show. The guest is Dr. Scott Hahn, a Catholic theolgian. It is a great example of Catholics and protestants exchanging views in a respectful, charitable manner - as it should be. I believe everyone (including myself) can learn from this. I hope that you will all take an hour out of your day to relax and listen to it.
(*If you like Dr. Hahn, I would suggest one other link for the future:
http://www.bringyou.to/ScottHahnCatholicObjectionsCOMPLETE.mp3 (http://www.bringyou.to/ScottHahnCatholicObjectionsCOMPLETE.mp3)
This is Dr. Hahn answering common objections to Catholic teachings.)

Thanks for the MP3 and U-Tube clip Terry and CF. I was vary moved by the last Fr. C's clip. Even thought I heard him speak on that before, it still moved me again.
Yes confession is so good, it allows us to fight our enemy of all enemies.
It is the Lord who is in charge, and he never gives us greater trials than we can endure. Woe to us, however, if we back down through cowardnice and renounce our duties.
We have the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Eucharist, the word of God, the power of the name Jesus, the protection of the Blessed Virgin and St. Michael, the intercession of all the other angels and saints in heaven, isnt it silly of us to fear the already conquered?
I found this prayer I use to say ofter when a group of us had a special prayer ministry, and I would like to share it with you. You can replace the I and me with the persons name you are praying over or for.
Spirit of our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, Immaculate Virgin Mary, angels, archangels, and saints of heaven, descend upon me.
Please purify me, Lord mold me, fill me with yourself, use me.
Banish all the forces of evil from me, destroy them, vanquish them, so that I can be healthy and do good deeds.
Banish from me all spells, witchcraft, black magic, malefice, ties, maledictions, and evil eye: diabolic infestations, oppressions, possessions, all that is evil and sinful, jealousy, perfidy, envy, physical, psychological, moral, spiritual, diabolical ailments.
Burn all these evils in hell, that they may never again touch me or any other creature in the entire world.
I command to and bind all the powers who molest me--by the power of God all powerful, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, through the intercessions of the Immaculate Virgin Mary--to leave me forever, and to be consigned into everlasting hell, where they will be bound by Saint Michael the archangel, Saint Gabriel, Saint Raphael, our guardian angels, and where they will be crushed under the heel of the Immaculate Virgin Mary. AMEN!

I just realized that some of us might have a hard time embracing the thought that an item can be blessed and used by God. Well I feel that the Lord is inspiring me to mention that this is quite scriptural.
it says in the book of Acts:
So extraordinary were the mighty deeds God accomplished at the hands of Paul that when face cloths or aprons that touched his skin were applied to the sick, their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them. Acts 19: 11-12
powerful right!?
I love you guys and I am so glad to be able to share this with you.

This is spiritual warfare, asking heaven to help us. It is done at many charismatic prayer groups becaue the devil would like us to not reach God in our prayers. So we ask that demons be removed from the prayer group and that God may triumph here.
Please join in everyone, because if we pray together we will be a stronger community. Otherwise it is a heavier burden for those we are praying it alone.
Bright Cherubim, you who are allowed a deeper insight into God's secrets, dispel the darkness of our souls, and in virtue of the Divine Blood, give that supernatural light to our eyes that will enable us to understand the turths of salvation.

I've been going through a bit of a 'spiritual battle' today, I think I was being attacked with prideful thoughts..if that makes sense. And I gave in for a while :( Then, God convicted me of my sin and falling into this trap, and helped me repent and I pray that He would keep me humble... the cool thing is that there's a little chapel here at my university, and I heard that today the speaker is going to be the pastor from my non denom church...I've always liked him so I went to the worship service. And he talked about humility and God really used him to tell me what I needed to hear!!
So...I don't know if this qualifies as a 'spiritual battle' in the way that you're talking about it, but it was still a battle between good and evil ;)
I'd like to join you guys in praying :)

I think we need to know what specifically we should be praying for.
I know you say you are seeing things through your Spiritual eye. Please tell us what you are seeing so we can pray for it.
Now, I also recommend you put on the Armour of God.
""Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints...." Ephesians 6:10-18"

Watch over the Holy Father, as well as over all the children of the Immaculate Spouse of Christ, and in virtue of the Divine Blood, obtain for us the grace to live and die in the Faith, Hope, and Charity of Holy Church, so that we may be eternally united with its august Head, Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
St. Michael, the Archangel, and all the Holy Angels, protect us in our combats, that we may not perish in the tremendous judgement of God.
Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Well this prayer was so good, I think that it is going to bring great peace to the forum here. I love God and all of His Angels. Thank you Jesus.
Do you guys if we wait a bit before we do another novena?

Day 9 (Last Novena Day)
Most holy Angels, you whose zeal for the interest of God, wherever they need to be defended, carries you through the universe more rapidly than lightning, protect His cause in our souls, and in virtue of the Divine Blood, obtain for us the signal grave of final perseverance
St. Michael, the Archangel, and all the Holy Angels, protect us in our combats, that we may not perish in the tremendous judgement of God.
Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
ConclusionAntiphon: O most glorious Prince, Michael, the Archangel, be mindful of us, here and everywhere, and always pray to the Son of God for us.
Verse: I will praise Thee, O God, in the sight of Thy Angels.
Response: I will adore Thee in Thy holy Temple and I will confess Thy Name.
Let us Pray:
O God, Who hast in an admirable order disposed the ministry of angels and of men, grant in Thy goodness that our life on earth may be protected by those who in heaven always assist before Thy throne ready to do Thy will. Through Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
