What is the stance of the Orential Orthodox with regard to intercommunion and the other Holy Mysteries with the Eastern Orthodox and Catholic Church? Also, are EO and CC baptisms and chrismation recognized by OO?

Did I phrase the question or say something wrong? Thank you.

Is it such a stupid question that no one will answer? Did I phrase it wrong? Thank you.
Yours in Christ.
You have to be patient, Ignatius. This forum gets very few visitors and there aren't exactly a lot of residents, either.
There's maybe... 5 that post regularly, and thats being VERY generous.

some of the EO baptisms are recognized by the OO but not all of the EO churches are recognized . it depends on the Church which did the baptism , also the EO must recognize the OO baptism to recognize its baptism by the OO .
But we don't recognize the RC baptism at all

Thank you for the information. I have found a Coptic church in a neighboring city and I would like to visit and attend Divine Liturgy. I understand that, since my baptism is not recognized I would not be receiving the Holy Mystery of the Eucharist. What would be the proper way to do this? Is it permitted to attend DL? Thank you.

They let me attend, and I'm not even baptised.
Most of them have the men on one side, the women on the other. The service will be longer, mostly standing. They will probably use cymbals during the service, so don't be alarmed. They are also VERY generous with the incense.
Normally, you can't take the Eucharist, even if you're Byzantine Orthodox. Pay attention to the Copts that take the Eucharist, though. They'll bring even their infant children up there and the priest will put a teeny tiny piece of host in their mouths. It's sweet. Well, unless the kid is bawling at the top of his or her lungs. Then it's funny and it's sweet.
By the way, Coptics cross themselves just like Latins (left to right), not like Byzantines (right to left).

In Alexandria the two patriarchs have agreed to inter-communion in certain cases.
RC baptisms are not accepted because we cannot be sure they were performed by triple immersion.
Do talk to the priest before attending if you can - you'll be made most welcome, although you won't be able to partake of the Eucharist. You'll be offered generous hospitality afterwards - even if during one of our many fasts it will be vegan food.
In peace,
Anglian

Thanks for the info. BTW, what are the Liturgical greetings this time of year? Is it too early for the Nativity greetings? Are they the same as the EO greetings?
Many Blessings to you.

Dear Ignatius,
For us this is a pentitential season of fasting, but in the UK we still wish each other a 'happy Christmas' in anticipation of the blessed event.

OK. Thank you. I know that it's a bit early. I believe that the EO have greetings like "Christ is in our midst" with a "He is and shall be" response, or "Christ is born" - "In Bethlehem" and was wondering if there were similar greetings in the EO for when I visit.
Grace and peace to all in this holy house.

"Christ is born" - "In Bethlehem"
 I've never heard of that. It's usually "Christ is born!" - "Glorify Him!"
