What healings have you all experienced?

I am curious as to what healings all of you have either experienced, seen, or know about.

I mean more dramatic healings, especially ones that can be documented scientifically.

Your request for scientific documentation is abit suspect. Few people that are sick actually have scientific documentation that they are sick, medical diagnosis are far from being 100% most of the time, the doctor may notice some symptoms, do some tests, etc, and then he gives his opinion (guess) as to what is wrong. In some cases obviously there is considerably more evidence (ie biopsy of a tumor) but that is the exception. Only in extreme instances is there enough evidence to make a diagnosis a forgone conclusion or something like a surgical procedure.
So what do you want? Many healings can occur that cannot be scientifically documented, doesn't diminish their validity to the healed. I can't scientifically document the tylenol helped the headache I had earlier. You have no evidence that I even had a headache.

We were at services over the weekend, where a guy is used by Yahweh in the area of words of knowledge and gifts of healing. There were many healed (me included) including some were in pain when they got there, others could hardly walk b/c of back or leg pain, some were almost blind, etc. Their posture, eyesight, or disposition, etc. were changed the moment they were healed.

As far as their previous physical conditions being documented, I'm sure in their doctors' offices.

We had a guy in church healed of a knee injury a few weeks ago, he came in on crutches and left without them.
There was an audible crack from his leg when it was healed.

Sorry no proof though.Is a bit hard to fake the noise though.

God is great, He obviously wanted those around to be sure it was Him.

I have been healed of ovarian cysts the size of golf balls, Hep C and Hypo glycemia. It happened all at once, my stomach started tingling like when your foot falls asleep and that lasted about 15 min. It was amazing and now I can fast and I don't have to worry about meds. My doctor looked at me crazy when I asked her to test me again, I had had Hep C for a year and a half. But her jaw dropped when It came back negative. Praise the Lord.:bow:

My wife was rather dramatically healed of re-bound hypoglycemia in1982.

This condition caused her blood sugar to drop suddenly and she would faint.

God gave me a word that he would deliver her from it if I prayed for her. I did and she was healed.

Well, a friend of mine was given six months to live because of inoperable lymphoma, but after I took some of our youth group with me to pray for her, she was completely healed and has now been cancer-free for fifteen years.

My wife Wendy had knee surgery some years ago to repair cartilage damage and tendon damage, but it didn't really do the trick, and she had to (at age 27) wear a full-length leg brace in order to walk. We were at our pastor's house just before Christmas, and before we left, we all laid hands on Wendy and prayed for her.

She walked home that night with the brace over her shoulder, and hasn't had to use it for well over a decade (we don't have the brace anymore but I can't remember what we did with it...).

Of course, as Ben mentioned earlier, it's sometimes difficult to document (offer iron-clad proof) when it comes to headaches, dizziness, or other unobvious-to-the-naked-eye healings, but there's two that I can absolutely, 100% attest are true, because I was there both times, and I've seen the long-term proof (Wendy can walk without a brace, and Kim is alive!).

I've been healed from bipolar and schizophrenia, off meds since 1983. I have the records to show 2 of my hospitalizations and diagnoses.

Not sure if this counts but...

When I was 40 weeks pregnant with my daughter we found out that she was completely breech. This was devistating because I had a really awful c-section with my son and I was determined not to go through that again. However, early in my pregnancy I gave the situation to God and knew that I wouldn't have to go through another c-section. So, I relied on my faith and and scheduled a version (to turn the baby) for the very next day (sometimes babies will turn on their own once labor has begun, but due to the c-section this was not an option for me). It's unheard of for a baby to be manually turned at 40 weeks. Well, I watched her turn. :) She was born via vbac 1 1/2 weeks later.

I had a knee injury that completely shredded the outer miniscus and the inner miniscus was hanging by a thread.
I never had surgery and yet I'm still able to walk and perform my every day tasks even getting on my knees to pray with normal function. This has been approximatley 5 years ago.

I've been healed of colds, flu, pneumonia,
ear infections, bladder infections and most importantly of all I was blind but now I see. I was deaf but now I hear. I was lost but now I'm found.

I have seen a lot of miracles.
One day,my pastor was praying for a woman and because he is from America,I was translating the woman what was he saying.she could't move on foot and she had a horrible pain in her stomach.while the pastor was praying,she told us that she felt a srt of fire in her foot and,gradually,she started to move her foot.she also told us that she doesn't feel the pain in her stomach.
another day a group of pastors came to our church and one of them was praying for a girl.she had some red points is her eye and she needed to be operated.while the pastor was praying,we could just see how those red points were dissapearing.she didn't need to be opperated anymore.
a girl had asthma and she was instantly healed in the same day

My Uncle had cancer when he was 15 and his whole church and my family were praying for him. He was expected to die, God cured him of all his cancer!! When the Doctors found out he didn't have cancer anymore they said he was infertile because of all the chemo and stuff that he had already had.
He is now a happy, healthy father of three beautiful children. The cancer has never returned!! Praise God.

On a smaller, but still important scale, when I have had headaches or sore throats or other minor illnesses I have asked God to heal me and sometimes immediately the pain is completely gone!

these are great testimonies~ I have prayed for people to be healed and they were. Once my friend had a headache for over a month. A few friends and I prayed for her and while we were praying the headache started lifting, and it never came back.

When I get home from work tonight I will start posting the miracles I have seen. You are talking about healing miracles not miracle of multiplication type, arent you.

I can bring one healing right here to CF. my daughter had two 78% bends of her spine and was scheduled for surgery on both bends the bottom bend was the greatest concern. I asked all my brothers and sisters here on CF and i think about every church in the country was praying for her. They re x/rayed her for the surgery and the bottom half of her spine the bend was gone which shortened the surgery in half. She is now 3 in taller and fit as a fiddle.
I had a friend who the Dr. gave NO chance to live i asked you mean he doesnt have not even 1% they said no he is dieing. He had Mersa [ a staff infection whcih is resistant to antibiotics ] he had yellow and green drainage coming from all areas of his body that had openings. I prayed in Jesus name and layed hands and 3 days later he was dismissed from the hospitial alive and well. I told the Dr. that only God knows when someone will live or die he did not have that authority. he took his notebook that he writes in and through it against the wall and shouted. WELL FINE DEVINE INTERVENTION IT IS. I picked up his note book smiled at him handed it to him and said yes sir it is !!
I had another friend in a different hospitial with a different Dr. who said my friend was dieing. I agreed he was in a coma and his breathing was what is called cain breathing [ its how you breath right before you die ] I didnt ask for his healing i thought he was to far gone i leaned over and wispered in his ear Jesus loves you and so do i. i then seen a tear begin in his eye and roll down his cheek and his eyes slowly opened and he started to strugle against all the stuff hooked up to him and as the other person three days later he was dismissed from the hospitial as well.

It is not just Bethel in Redding. We are having a wave of the Holy Spirit in the North State.
Our Agape Prayer Group is in Redding also and we are also witnessing miracles.

I also know that Risen King Fellowship has been expriencing the same thing.

Redding is alive in the Holy Spirit.

When I was around 13 years old, I had scoliosis rather badly. I had an 'S'-shaped spine, and was kind of hunched over. By that time, I had a few doctor evaluations and a consultation where the doctors described a procedure to me that they planned to do that basically bound a fiberglass rod to my spine to straighten it over time.

One day I went to church and it just happened my pastor, Dr. Lester Sumrall, had a faith healer in the church that week (can't recall his name). Those of us who wanted healing were told to go up to the area around the stage so we could by prayed for.

After some prodding by my grandmother, I went up there and the guy came around put his hands on me and prayed. As he did, I felt my spine straighten, accompanied be a long series of cracks and pops as it aligned.

People around the church who saw and heard the event were oooh-ing and ahhh-ing. Personally, I was speechless as it took a few minutes to wrap my head around what just happened.

Needless to say, my spine is now fine and the surgery never took place.

I developed Lung Cancer 4 years ago. I lost the upper lobe of my right lung in surgery and went through radiation. I read everything I could about the desease. I was prayed over continously by my family and my prayer group. Last month my oncologist declared me completely healed. He said I made medical history in his office being his first patient to be removed from the Lung Cancer drug I was on. He and my Radiation Oncologist both told me they believed I was healed by my faith in God.

We had a lady come to our Healing Mass with a Lutheran friend. The friend had been healed of a crippling desease in her knees (she had had multiple surgeries on her knees). Her friend was visiting her in Redding from New Jersey. She came up for prayer for the gift of tongues. She received her prayer language and went home to NJ. About 6 weeks later, she called me and asked if I would pray for her over the phone. She had 5 lumps in her tummy. I told her I would pray for her and did. I prayed for quite awhile in the Spirit since I didn't know what was causing the lumps or what they were. Less than a week later she called me very excited and crying. The lumps were gone. However that was not what she was so excited about. She had been born deaf in her right ear (she never mentioned this to me) and she was completely healed of the deafness. She had it verified by her doctor before calling me. He wrote a letter to our Pastor with her testimony.

God is awesome how he heals this way. Before my cancer, I had three ruptured discs in my back that caused me serious pain and resulted in me leaving my job at the Airlines. In 2000, I fell and agrivated the already serious back injury. Well, I was not only cured of cancer but my back was healed completely too. I didn't ever realize that until months later.

I will not hog the thread here but these are just a couple of the miracles we have experienced that were documented.

A man in our church was diagnosed with malignant tumors in his brain this past fall. I don't know his exact prognosis other than the situation was very serious. He's had chemo...and a LOT of prayer from our community. Yesterday he stood up in church and said that less than 1% of his cancer remains, which he attributes to intercessory prayer.
