Hiii everyone,
Hey I thought that I would post this charismatic music link that I am listening to as we speak (okay okay, as I type). I hope that you will like this. It is really nice and sweet to listen to. I promise you that you will hear something wonderful.

just scroll to the bottom and the praise music is there. Oh and it is actually not 2 hours, it is about 45 minutes, that was my mistake. But it really is very very nice.
God bless you all with peace in Jesus

This Praise music is right out of the Prayer Groups of the early 1970's.
It had me in tears, I miss these songs so much.
It brought us so much into the presence of Jesus.

yeah peaceful,
I listened to it last night twice and the second time I was with my mom. I cried after singing one of the songs to my Lord. They were not tears of sorrow, but it was tears of knowing that God loves me.

mmhmm.
I used to just cry so much when I used to go to a non-denominational church. It was my first time praising Jesus through that kind of praise and worship. I cried alot!!!

I know what you mean! ;) when I first became a Christian I saw some people crying during worship and I thought that's so weird...but..I just couldn't understand back then, lol. When you're praising God and feeling His love and presence all around you..it's hard not to cry then.

Nice music. Thanks for sharing. I am really enjoying all the things you are teaching and sharing. What a blessing you are. I too remember these songs, I LOVE them.
My middle name is cry. LOL. Whenever I am in praise and worship, adoration, or during the consecration, and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, it is so profound that I can’t contain it. I cry like a baby. It is really embarrassing for me, and sometimes I feel like crawling right under the pew! I try to contain it, especially in mass, but never seem to get a hold of myself. YIKES! But I guess tears are good too.
This post is the second confirmation I asked the Lord to give me about dancing before him. I sometimes do that to Glorify him, when the Holy Spirit prompts me to (not in public only in private). It used to be all the time but now it appears not to happen as often. Question: is dancing before the Lord a gift from the Holy Spirit? I can’t find anything on this. Thanks. Blessings and Peace.

We use to dance in the Spirit at the SCRC Conferences. We would be in Praise and Worship, usually after a long day of workshops and in the evening it was like the Holy Spirit fell so heavely during Praise and Worship. As we sang love songs to the Lord, or all spontaneously started singing in tongues, it seemed like dancing before him became just as spontaneous. It was awesome.
I have been told that the folks who manage the Anaheim Convention Center made it stop. Some sort of insurance liability. NOW THAT IS SOMETHING THAT MIGHT STIFLE THE HOLY SPIRIT, don't you think?

I went to a Charismatic Church a few years ago that everyone was singing in tongs. It was the most beautiful melody I had ever heard. I got so caught up in it. I started swaying and twirling to it. It was only one time. I wish I could go there again. I am always in awe when the spirit moves you like that. Blessings and peace.

 I was just listening to these songs again, and I actually don't know most of them! Well I have to say they are very good. They fill me with a lot of joy. I especially like this one:
"Open our eyes Lord
We want to see Jesus
To reach out and touch Him
And say that we love Him
Open our ears Lord
And help us to listen
Open our eyes Lord
We want to see Jesus"
:D :D :D Well I think I'm going to sing this right now.

Hi Monica, I know this ? was not for me, but I wanted to share with you that in our Prayer group what we use for music are CD's and the fine use of Mr. BOES (LOL). Some of the more popular artists we use are Chris Tomlin, Michael Crawford, John Michael Talbot, and Joel Weldon, Hillsong, the WOW cd's to start. We also use a CD that our Music ministry produced. There is no way to list the individual songs, there are far to many. Right now i am listening to Hillsong "Here I am to Worship". One of My favorites!

I have a song book here with me of many of the charismatic songs that we use in our prayer groups.
Here is a partial list:
(wow this must be meant to be because I haven't looked at this songbook in a long time and I just found it in literally 2 seconds after I decided to get it for you Monica.) God had it ready and waiting for you!
These are some of my favorites:
Awesome God
Battle hymn of the republic
Change my heart, O God
Come and fill this temple
Come Holy Spirit
Gathered in the power of His Spirit
Give Thanks
Great is the Lord
ahh the list goes on!
well let me see if I can find you something more to listen to, the song titles help, but wow, there is more to them than their names!
praise Jesus sis!

Cool! :D when you say "Awesome God" do you mean the one by Rich Mullins? It goes..."our God is an awesome God.." cause I really like that song. Some people don't but I do, lol. And Rich Mullins is my favourite Christian artist ever. (did you know he died several days before becoming Catholic? :( Apparently he really wanted to take the Eucharist that week, and phoned the priest and told him about that, but never got the chance.) His songs are really good.
thanks brother! :)

wow are you serious about that? I think that He is a sign that God would still accept him even though he had not received holy communion. Becaue although he hadn't actually partaken of the eucharist, his desire was to receive Jesus.
God is very myterious in His ways. Who can understand His ways.
oh yes btw, that is the song. I really love the chorus to it.
Why do people not like that song very much?

yes :) I read about Rich Mullins, and he thought of becoming Catholic for many years..his favourite saint was St. Francis of Assisi :) and Rich also took a vow of poverty. He really lived what he believed, but at the same time didn't pretend to be perfect. He was a really "real" sort of person. And then he decided that he wants to be Catholic, but yea never got the chance. I don't know why it happened like that....btw he died in a car accident. But yea I'm sure God understands :)

I dunno some people think it's too simple or even cheesy or something. But I don't think so. I actually like it's simplicity.
Our God is an awesome God! AMEN! :amen:

God has His purposes and He knows what He will accomplish. I see deep understanding in what the Lord did through that man's death.
