is the only husband i can stand to have.

what really upsets me is when a guy and i
hit it off really well until i start talking about the
Torah & he automatically shuts down.

Yahweh wants us to keep His Word.
I will tell you nothing else.

The best advice someone ever gave me was to focus on G-d's Word, and pleasing him, as well as strengthening my family relationships and finding out who I am, and let G-d be my matchmaker.

In His time, we meet who is our destined mate. I feel your pain, I do! It is hard to find a mate when you are looking very actively for certain critera, L-rd knows I tried... and when I stopped looking my answer was before me.

My wife was 20 when we were married.

Everyone matures at different ages. But yeah... 18 is a bit young. ;)

I will tell you nothing else. I don't mean to sound harsh but if you dress the way your character is , you can't expect to attract someone who is attracted to following HaShems word. :sorry:

and i know that eighteen is too young, i'm not ready..or even close to ready.
i was just stating that's the only kind of husband i could stand to have, i was with a catholic guy for two and a half years & it was utterly ridiculous.

.... wow....

well i think it is good that even now she is considering the kind of husband she would like to have. One that loves God, and desires to please Him and live out his life in obedience to Him.

to misuse the scripture "an honourable husband who can find".

Instead of bashing her, we should pray for her that the man she finally ties the knot with as of Godly character, and is able to perform his familial duties in righteousness and with an upright heart.

May she be granted (when the time is right) the desires of her heart.

to Lulav......it's just a character....?Yes, dear one, I understand that, and many treat them as dolls, but isn't the purpose to represent ourselves since we can't see each other? It says something about us, it represents us, so it's not completley invalid. We decide how we should dress our character if we choose to have one. For instance I have been wearing a lovely rust colored outfit up until a few days ago when someone anonoumously gifted me with what my character is wearing now.

This is called the poor Hebrew woman's outfit, and believe me, I fit that description right now to a 'T".:D Anyway, I do choose my outfits to wear on here, the same as in RL. Maybe not exactly, but in form of modesty, yes.

PS, yes I know my ankles are showing, this dress must not be for tall people, and I didn't think my socks looked appropriate for working in the fields, but if it causes you to stumble achi, then socks it is! :)

( And for the one who reported me, I wasn't trying to be offensive, just honest).

Charm can lie, beauty can vanish, but a woman who fears the L-RD should be praised.

The only ankles.....particularly on a woman....that are going to cause me to stumble are attached to my feet. :)

It's winter you know......

If one is going to hand out spankings than one best have make sure than they are above reproach on all levels.

Excellent Post Steve.

When the time is right, it WILL happen. Two of mine have found mates, one is married, and we live in an area where we are the only Messianics.

Keep your eyes on the Lord, and focus on the person that he wants you to become, and let life happen.

But I agree, he must share your faith.

most threads end up talking about things that were meant to be brought up. lol.
it's kinda ridiculous.

it went from, i'm longing for a messianic husband to saying Yahweh is saying His name in vain.
