My friend Peaceful Dove invited me here. She also said I could put my prayer request here, is that okay?
My son and I live with my father, age 93. He is about to be foreclosed on, and we have no relatives nor friends.
We also hate winter and want to move somewhere warmer and that has my sons homeschooling free.
I have put my heart on Austin, Texas.
I have also e mailed some churches to find resources, a place to stay til we get on our feet.
So we need prayer.
I think we have til end of January at the latest.
Your prayers are needed and welcomed.

Dear sister, bless you.
Your act of asking for help is precious to the Lord. I believe that He is now seeing your plea and moving ahead of you to prepare a way out of the desert. Somehow I feel that the Lord is saying that the foreclosure is needed. I don't understand why, but He says that You do understand. so be at peace. And in the Spirit I am praying for just the right home for you and your family. God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
I offer you and your family to the sacred heart of Jesus, the heart that burns with love for you. His love will provide water in the desert and a flowing fountain in the parched land. He will never forsake His own. Just tell your Lord that you trust Him to handle this, and He is going to provide.
peace be with you, again I say peace.
with love in Jesus our Savior,
your brother CF

Dear sister HD,
I wanted to share a scripture with you and to help with any discouragement that has come to you. Let that be removed, In Jesus' name now.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you who by the power of God are safeguarded through faith, to a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the final time.
In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, as you attain the goal of (your) faith, the salvation of your souls.
Concerning this salvation, prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and investigated it, investigating the time and circumstances that the Spirit of Christ within them indicated when it testified in advance to the sufferings destined for Christ and the glories to follow them.
It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you with regard to the things that have now been announced to you by those who preached the good news to you (through) the holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels longed to look.

I am glad to hear Dad is better.
I think I will start a thread for testimonies to answered prayers.
It helps to build up the Body.
Maybe we need more testimonies about how God is working in our lives in other ways, too.
What do you all think?
