1 1 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/hebrews/hebrews12.htm#foot1) Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us 2 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/hebrews/hebrews12.htm#foot2) and persevere in running the race that lies before us 2 while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before him he endured the cross, despising its shame, and has taken his seat at the right of the throne of God.
Paul, speaking as an apostle knows and makes us know that every Christian attitude is guarded in its struggle against sin, is the test that should endure, (which does not give himself can not be my disciple, said Jesus) - example is Jesus who started a new life based on faith, rejection - a kingdom on earth by a sacrifice of death to eternal life.
3 Consider how he endured such opposition from sinners, in order that you may not grow weary and lose heart. 4 In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood.
For human beings not believers, Jesus' death was a defeat, because they unknow the mystery of life that begins after death, the fight ends when the believer dies and dies when it receives as grace the Holy Spirit which is symbolized by the blood of Christ
5 You have also forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons: "My son, do not disdain the discipline of the Lord or lose heart when reproved by him; 6 for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines; he scourges every son he acknowledges."
When we receive the Holy Spirit, fighting becomes more fierce, we can fall and we fall, but the correction comes, from our Father God, it hurts a lot at first, but then taste the sweetness of feeling God's children, because we are.
7 Endure your trials as "discipline"; God treats you as sons. For what "son" is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 If you are without discipline, in which all have shared, you are not sons but bastards.
A good father does not remain indifferent to the collapse of his son, rebukes to lift and return to fight until they achieve victory, as did Jesus.
9 Besides this, we have had our earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them. Should we not (then) submit all the more to the Father of spirits and live?
Of course, if we corrected our biological father but imperfectly, but God corrects with perfection.
10 They disciplined us for a short time as seemed right to them, but he does so for our benefit, in order that we may share his holiness. 11 At the time, all discipline seems a cause not for joy but for pain, yet later it brings the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it.
God does not punish, God corrects, and its correction is very severe, it hurts a lot, but make grow or we could say, "evolve" - he did with Adam and Eve, and that correction Do! - they was throw the fight of having to earn their bread by the sweat of his forehead, they had committed the error or sin of disobedience, but not surprisingly, God knew why put the tree of knowledge at their disposal, ... To better understand what I say .. We must bear in mind that it can not be correct to who does nothing wrong, nor can reward those who does not anything good, is written, "I prefer you cold or hot, if you are lukewarm I vomiting to you
12 So strengthen your drooping hands and your weak knees. 13 Make straight paths for your feet, that what is lame may not be dislocated but healed.
We are all sinners, but, there are sinners that God can not correct and convert it into Holy? - we are examples, for who claim to God.
14 Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord. 15 3 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/hebrews/hebrews12.htm#foot3) See to it that no one be deprived of the grace of God, that no bitter root spring up and cause trouble, through which many may become defiled, 16 that no one be an immoral or profane person like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal.
The grace of God is far more valuable than all the gold in the world, rejecting it means suffering that we can not imagine.
17 For you know that later, when he wanted to inherit his father's blessing, he was rejected because he found no opportunity to change his mind, even though he sought the blessing with tears. 18 4 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/hebrews/hebrews12.htm#foot4) You have not approached that which could be touched 5 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/hebrews/hebrews12.htm#foot5) and a blazing fire and gloomy darkness and storm 19 and a trumpet blast and a voice speaking words such that those who heard begged that no message be further addressed to them, 20 for they could not bear to hear the command: "If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned." 21 Indeed, so fearful was the spectacle that Moses said, "I am terrified and trembling."
All sins will be corrected, we are all responsible for our actions or conduct, who creates know or who knows, will be corrected with more harshly. And who does not know will be corrected with less harshly, because the correction of God is knowledge.
22 No, you have approached Mount Zion and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and countless angels in festal gathering, 23 and the assembly of the firstborn enrolled in heaven, 6 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/hebrews/hebrews12.htm#foot6) and God the judge of all, and the spirits of the just made perfect, 24 and Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and the sprinkled blood that speaks more eloquently 7 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/hebrews/hebrews12.htm#foot7) than that of Abel.
The believers, but who can assess whether what we are? - We are at the foot of Mount St., at the gates of the heavenly Jerusalem, but we still have to climb, we have Jesus, is the way the truth and the life. with him we can climb without falling.
25 See that you do not reject the one who speaks. For if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much more in our case if we turn away from the one who warns from heaven.
Many, too many, they take the word of God with little interest and then regrets as Esau, this life is not a game.
26 His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, "I will once more shake not only earth but heaven."
What we are seeing and experiencing, terrible things are happening because of our rebellions. Things we could avoid if we are faithful to the Lord
27 That phrase, "once more," points to (the) removal of shaken, created things, so that what is unshaken may remain.
Nature will be transform, spiritual is forever..
28 Therefore, we who are receiving the unshakable kingdom should have gratitude, with which we should offer worship pleasing to God in reverence and awe. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
AMEN
