Ok, I'm generally a very happy person & don't like chronic complainers... but some things do irritate me.

Have you ever eaten some cereal & after you already ate some of it, you find an ant or 2 floating around in there? LOL

One of my pet peeves - those stupid resealable bags that food comes in now. Not only are they adult proof to break into, good luck resealing those things. :help:
I don't even bother with it anymore. I just fold the top over to close it and alot of times I just cut the seal right off when opening the bag.

As I'm 6' 1'', I can cover distance a lot quicker than most when walking.

So my pet peeve is a group of slow people all walking abreast of each other.

Way to block the entire sidewalk there, guys....

My pet peeve is when I'm driving on a two-lane street, have to stop because someone in front of me stops (or a pedestrian is crossing the street), and people start to pass me on the right. Even the police in my town do this. Drives me nuts.

Oh ya, you don't even have to be tall to have that one drive you crazy.
I have that same problem at stores with shopping carts - people just slowly wander in front of you & you can't pass them. (I like to get where I'm going, I don't walk slow lol) -
MOVE ALONG PEOPLE - or step aside please! hehehe :P

sometimes that can be against the law I think! Yipes. I hope they don't do that when a school bus light goes on.

Peeve: that no restaruants in my area serve bacon wrapped prawns or bacon wrapped jalapenos so I have to make them myself which sort of commits you to making too much, just in case ;)

Ok, here's mine (well, one of them):

Teasers on local news.

"Tornado headed for town! More at five..."

"Researchers report cure for cancer! Please tune in tomorrow for the complete report..."

"Local councilman admits to moral shortcoming. Ted, we first heard about this yesterday and 9-News was there for the announcement." "Yes, Sally, that's true. Our 9-New beat reporter, Muffy got this exclusive about the councilman and the statement is well, just plain troublesome." "I know, Ted! This sort of admission just doesn't happen here. And what an admission it was!" "True, true. Stay tuned for the full story at 10..."

10:00:

"Local councilman Bob (name withheld for privacy) admitted yesterday to running a stop sign at 3rd and main."

"And now in other news, the stock market rose today, and a tornado ripped through town causing horrific damage. More after these commercials..."

Ok, and while I'm at it,

Why is it local car dealers throughout this great country of ours feel the need to hawk their vehicles with the most inane antics and dopey characters imaginable?

LOL
I just heard and FELT one the other day that I couldn't believe. I think it was vibrating so loud if I were in the car it would jiggle my eyeballs to the point that I couldn't focus on the road. I'm no sissy either, our house if filled with studio equipment and instruments. It's bass to the point of drowning out all the other sounds. :tutu:

Ohhhh yeah!

I pretty much stopped watching the news about 15 years ago when I heard something to the effect..."A silent killer could be stalking your home... details at 11"

Being a single woman, living alone in a metro area...I stayed up to see if there was something I should be aware of...

And sure enough there was...to have my blood pressure checked regularly...

:swoon:

Now the mainstream media is not simply reporting the news...they are "creating" news.

People with the "fish" symbol prominently displayed on their car, who then cut people off, weave in and out of traffic in the name of saving four and a half seconds in a 45-minute trip, or generally act in denial of who their "fish" says they are.

Oh I have lots of them.

People that I don't know standing so close to me that I can feel their body heat.

People walking down the middle of the street instead of the side and blocking everybody.

People that walk around using a headset phone. I usually think they are talking to me.

People in the bathroom that use the stall right next to yours never mind there are 20 other stalls available and all are empty.

I think bug infestations in general. We had a moth problem in my old house when I was younger. We had to throw out pretty much everything in the pantry. Though during the summer we'd also get Elder Bug infestations. You think it's bad finding an ant in your cereal? Try finding an elder bug in your lasagna- that you were in the process of eating.
