I wondered if you could find the time to pray for my Church. I live in England and I am a member of a little evangelical Church in Chelmsford. It is a Church filled with love of each other and of the Lord. They are closer to me than my family. I am very grateful to the Lord for leading me there.
Lately we seem to be suffering from a run of personal problems. Members are having unusually difficult life challenges and health problems. Worst of all the Pastors wife was assaulted in the street by a stranger. Luckily the Lord was with her and the man ran away but she is very shaken. We love her dearly and are very sad because she is wonderful lady.
Please pray for the Pastor and his wife and for the members of our little Church.
Thank you. God Bless you. :)

Praying for your church family, and especially your pastor's wife. Being assaulted is a very hard thing to go through even if there is no "lasting" physical problems. The emotional and mental effects are very hard. I know because I was the victim of an assault by a stranger myself a few years ago. I will definitely pray that the Lord will help her restore her sense of safety in light of this event. :prayer:

Praying for God's protection for your church community, and that the members are lifted up and strengthened through these trials.

One thing to remember is that the enemy comes the strongest against those who are the closest to the Lord, and doing the Lord's work. Stay close to your church and it's members. Reach out to one another in love and embrace one another as a family, for you are a family, and God has brought you all together to worship Him, for a reason.
I have prayed for protection over your church, binding the enemy from attacking any more of it's members, and asking for comfort for all of you. :prayer:
How blessed you are to have such a wonderful church.

Prayers. :crosseo: I have noticed this lately that many people I know, some in my parish, are having some horrible things to deal with, and I have to wonder why so many attacks at this time. We all need prayers for this, and at least to understand.

Orchids I did not want to ignore your request for prayer also, so I wanted you to know that I have prayed for your parish also. If you want to start your own topic for prayer, please do not hesitate.

Thank you all so much. You are all so kind and caring..true followers with loving hearts, like those in my church. We are all the church and it is so wonderful to find a group who reach out to one another.
Yes, I guess if we are getting this much attention from the enemy then we are on the right track. This gives me such hope.
My sister in Christ at my Church today said to me....
"the Lord is my light and salvation,
Whome shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life,
of whom shall I be afraid?"
Amen!! Psalm 27.1 nkjv
Orchids, I will pray for your Parish too. You are right, we need to pray for each other. Thank you all so much.

Please can I ask that you continue to pray for our Pastors wife...she is struggling to cope. Things are still not well for her. Poor thing. I wish that I could take her pain from her. She is so traumatised that normal day to day activity is hard fr her. She is becoming very depressed.
Oh Lord, please lay your healing hand upon the Pastors wife. Please Lord give her strength and courage to put this far from her. Oh Lord be with her and bring her comfort and peace in her heart such as only you can give. Lord be close to her and keep the enemy from her. Please Lord wrap your arms about her and her husband and heal them Thankyou Lord. in Jesus name, Amen.
