Hanukkah Question and Requests

Hi, I have a question and two requests re Hannukah items.

First, the question:
I'm happy to see the Hanukkiah (Hanukkah Menorah) and Spinning Dreidel in Special. But since Hanukkah is a seasonal holiday, shouldn't they have "Special Item of the Month" or "December Special of the Month" as other holiday items do?

Now the requests:

With Hanukkah beginning early this year (the first candle is lit next Tuesday night), I was wondering if it's not too late to add a couple of Hanukkah-related things to Special items:

First, Potato Latkes to Special Items- Menu. They are a traditional food cooked in oil often served at this time of year as a reminder of the Mracle that occurred (I didn't see them anywhere).

Item: Potato Latkes
Description: "Special of the Month"- A reminder of the Miracle that occurred.
Price: 30

And second, "Hanukkah Gelt", gold-wrapped chocolate coins usually in a small gold mesh bag, often given to children during the eight day period. I know my sisters and I often looked forward to both the latkes and the gelt when we were young. This could be added to Special Items- Assorted

Item: Hanukkah Gelt
Description: "December Special of the Month- A special treat for children.
Price: 45-50

I'll see what we can do. We probably will not be able to create all these before Tuesday though.

The reason some potentially seasonal items are not specials of the month has to do with when they were originally requested and created. The specials of the month were first introduced in November of 2005, for Thanksgiving. Many items related to Hannukah were requested long before that, even before we had characters (if you remember back that far).

I didn't join till April of 2006, so was unaware about the designations. Thanks for the explanation. ;)

I fully understand about the timing of my requests. I meant to ask a couple weeks back, but got side-tracked. :sigh: Whatever, and whenever it, can be done (even after Tuesday), is greatly appreciated. E.g., whichever is easiest.
