Eternal Security, OSAS is better understood and explained as Perserverance of the saints, in my opinion. Although I am not a Southern Baptist, I am an Independent Baptist Fundamentalist, and without a doubt I believe in the eternal security and peserverance of the saints for all whom are born-again. :groupray:

Were you not a Mormon just a few days ago?
Yes, in general, Southern Baptists do believe in OSAS. Growing up SB and attending Baylor (http://www.baylor.edu) I have never heard a Baptist preacher or layperson believe otherwise.

Yes, Southern Baptists believe that once a person comes to Christ, they cannot be snatched from His hand, by anyone, even themselves.

For me, I believe, that once saved always saved is good enough for me. But yet at the same time, there are certain crimes, that I feel can put your salvation at risk.
