Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in the Baptist forum. http://bestsmileys.com/thanksgiving/1.gif
Anyone want to share their holiday plans?
I'm cooking for immediate family only this year - my daughter is home from college for the weekend, son, daughter-in-law and grandboys will be coming over tomorrow ~noon (football on t.v. then dinner).
I'm cooking a turkey breast only this year - plus dressing, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted squash with mushrooms, garlic & shallots, cranberry sauce, a tossed salad and the inevitable relish tray. Bought pies from a bakery this year (baked goods aren't my strong suit).

Hey Edie. Tommorrow I will be going to my moms to eat. Then after we eat we will be traveling to Alabama to visit my wife's family. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

Edie, you've really gone all out!
I'll be driving to my parents' house, then we're off to a big get-together, and I'll be back on the road on Saturday.
Thanks for the good wishes, and Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, and everyone else!

When i get off work at 6 am this morning, I'm going home. Relax for about an hour. Bug momma as she cooks. :D Then go to bed. I'll probably wake up about 1 or 2 pm. Wait for momma to come home with me a plate. Watch the Football games. And then back to bed at 5:30 to catch a quick nap. Get up at 8:30, drink a cup of coffee. And then out the door at 9:15 coming to work.
edb19, save me some leftovers.
I do hope that you and your family have a blessed and joyfull thanksgiving.
God Bless ya.
Till all are one.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, and all my brothers and sisters here in the Baptist forums.
I am staying at home, and the wife is cooking:
Turkey
Mashed Pot.
Squash
Turnip

Cranberry/ Apple sauce (s)
It is my job to make Gravy.
Lots of pies from the local farm stand and Ice cream.
Then football, I wish the mighty Pats were playing today.
