I just wanted to share a wonderful piece of news with you all! :D
As some of you may know, my husband is JuvenalyMartinka (his name on here).
This past Sunday, November 11th, we had our marriage blessed in the Church. It was a WONDERFUL event, a perfect day. It was awesome for both of us. I am so very happy that I finally came around and agreed to having that done. It truly was an amazing experience that I wouldn't have traded for anything. It really does feel as if our marriage is more complete now.
We have SOME pictures of the ceremony, the others we are waiting on. I will get my dear husband to post them in a place where we can share the link with you all who wish to see them.

Beauteous!
On a side note, is that a practicing priest in the wheelchair? I was under the impression that paraplegics could not be ordained because certain priestly duties simply cannot be performed sitting down. Am I wrong?

I do not know the specifics of the situation, however, I do know he has diabetes and was ordained before he was no longer able to walk and also that he has the possibility of being able to walk, it's just that every time he goes to be fitted for shoes some other issue with his feet springs up. I do not know the specifics as I said if whether it is allowable for a priest to be in a wheelchair. I do know that the Bishop has made certain changes to the way that things are done Liturgically to deal with the health issues of the priest.
I do not want to derail the thread so I will ask my question that pertains to this in another thread.
