Prayers for him! My dad had a massive heart attack earlier this year so I know how scary that is. The good news is that the doctors are so good with heart issues these days, so he should be in good hands.

Lord, Merciful Father, hold thy son and servant in thy hand and bless him. Heal his body, I pray. Comfort and strengthen his family in this time of unknowing, grant them all the peace that only You can give. Bless the medical staff that watches over him, open their minds to the knowledge needed to bring about healing and to the care and concern needed to nurture him back to health.

In the name of Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen.

May the Lord be with our brother and his family,
Lord your word tells us in
Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

And Lord we know our brother Orth takes refuge in you, we ask that you be a stronghold for him and his family.
In Christ
Amen

Prayers for healing nonetheless:

If you are curious, I'll share with you that my blockage was from a "blood clot" that moved into my heart and stopped just below the label "LCA" in the picture above. This shut down half of my heart. Boy... did that hurt!

From the time of the attack to unblocking it with a stint was 69 minutes. I have no damage and will only need a short time to recover.

Thank you again for all your prayers.

If anyone can figure out who was sitting in the chair at my feet (that nobody else saw) please let me know.

Forgive me...

It is so wonderful to hear from you, and I am so happy for your family and friends...as well.

Modern medicine has come along way, I remember back before the late 70s, a heart attack was almost an immediate death sentence. But now the general populace is so educated on how to respond to the first symptoms, and the advancements of early treatment there is an execellent survival rate. Praise God. However, none of this is to dismiss the works of our Divine Physician, and His hand in our healing.

Hope that you get to feeling better soon, and back to your old activities.

Did the doctors tell you to do a radical lifestyle change, such as a better diet? My husband and I are doing that, boy...not so easy. I have actually craved some of my old bad foods...so bad, that I could literally taste them. :swoon: . But we are doing good, thus far...and are committed to do this....my husband is in pretty good shape, just elvated cholestrol and doc said he has too much blood...lol...I have never heard of that before, but apparently John's body is making too much blood. My liver "sheza not so good", so it's make changes now, or grow sicker and possible need a liver transplant later on..... That's incentive enough for me...lol.

Peace be with you...Pam

You guys are wonderful.

I can't say what I saw. I simply do not know. If it were not for the evidence left behind that someone was sitting in that chair I would dismiss it as having to do with Morphine and Demerol.

No one remembers anyone being in my room between 3AM and 6AM. It's all kind of fuzzy... but the chair with the blanket draped in it, as if someone sat there holding it, was still there when I awoke... and that extra blanket had been across my feet just hours earlier.

unfortunately, no. It would seem so, because of the constant surplus, but it's unusable, it carries the defect that causes the syndrome in the first place. The risk of the receiver developing the same problem makes it problematic.

well, if it was an Angel, praise God.
