apparently i'm in the top 14.22%. i don't know about that. i get $277.70 a fortnight atm, and my rent costs me $270 a fortnight, which includes dinner 4 nights a week. so i have $7.70 a fortnight to spend on food, petrol, phone credit, clothing, &c. Most of my food for the week comes from what I can get from the day-old bakery bins at church on sunday and from the fridge at work. i definitely don't feel like i'm in the top 15% of richest people in the world.

I just missed the top 10%, which makes me happy, if I was in the top 10% I think I might feel that I was a rich man, with the whole needle/camel problem that comes with that. Now I can fool myself into thinking that I'm poor enough I don't have to worry about that. (even though I'm sure I do).

Yes, you are doing it wrong. $55,000 dollars US is 37,500 euros not 10,000. Conversely, 10,000 Euros is 14,600 dollars.

Indeed!

Currently, about 3%. If I lived all year on unemployment (God forbid), I'd still be in the top 11%. If I get the job at Intel, for what I'm asking for, I'll be in the top percentile. It definitely puts things in perspective.

that is not what I meant... my hubbs and I were making 10,000 euros...(there is a scroll down window for that) in Greece. It has nothing to do with our income here....mph.... I do not like it when people think you as a dummy.... Forgive me (just venting here)...
