I don't know. I think I filled up at $2.79 a few weeks ago. I have half a tank left. The advantages of taking the bus mostly I guess.

I take the city's bus to work everyday. Save $$$ on gas, parking and wear & tear.

Plus.. I get to read my newspaper while the driver face the aggrevations of driving. ^_^

Close to 1.50 EUR per litre/quart

I remember, when I lived in the USA in the 1990ties, I though $ 1.50 was high for a gallon!

$2.86 here. Of course prices jumped $0.20/gallon just as I was slated to take a road trip. Go figure.

I was in the Poconos this past weekend and the price was 3.17.

In Lancaster County yesterday it was 3.10 and the brilliance of the Amish and their horse drawn buggies was astounding.

I just filled up around my house for 2.97, though, so I'm not joining the Amish just yet :P

$3.08 in central Illinois. Our Gov. said today it's because "Illinois is landlocked". Apparently the Mississippi doesn't count anymore? I dunno.

$2.95/ gallon in New Jersey (as of an hour ago ;) ) and I'm close enough to the NY state line, that New Yorkers are all down here, for gas, 'cause it's less than they pay there.

Here's a fairly recent list of state gasoline & diesel tax rates by state. Keep in mind, that's ON TOP of the $0.184/ gal. Federal tax.

Pennsylvania is pretty bad, my town has more expensive gas than Baltimore & DC:doh:

And Governor Ed "$pendell" Rendell wants more fuel taxes..
