Anyone know anything about this guy? I had to listen to my sister-in-law tell me how wonderful he is. Here is his blog (http://joelrosenberg.blogspot.com/).

He sounded to me like an updated, smarter, non-date-setting Hal Lindsey type but I am informed (by SIL) that he is "solid" while apparently Hal Lindsey is not. To his credit, he appears to be involved in humanitarian efforts in the Middle East.

All these end-times guys bring out the worst in me I must confess.

Anyway, anyone know anything about him? His blog looks like a roundup on Middle East news and prophetic stuff.

Just looked him up & he does sound interesting. Why does your SIL think he is wonderful?

Is he one of these rapture ready guys or is he just into Biblical prophecy & how it corresponds with current events? I will look at the blog later. Right now my energy level is pretty low.

I think it's more the latter-- into Biblical prophecy & how it corresponds with current events.

I think she thinks he is wonderful because he's famous and she knows him and agrees wtih him.

Well I can't really tell from his blog. Seems kinda Hal Lindsey-ish without all the rapture talk. More political with ties ins to Biblical prophecy.

The Copper Scrollls peaked my interest but I'm into that sort of thing.

I like that he is assisting in programs for the Middle East.

I don't know. Probably on the same page as you on this. I just can't tell.
