So many other attempts--on those lesser forums, you know;) --fumbled around until no one was satisfied with the outcome. Not so here.

Should this be the last poll? Right now the top choice has 42% support. So 58% chose something else. If the poll closes with none of the 3 choices over 50%, shouldn't the last place choice be dropped. Then a final poll so we have a clear majority for forum name. Just a thought. :)

I voted the Fisherman's Net.

I don't like fellowship as it does not stand out enough & implies only one thing.

I'm just hoping its Net or Bridge.

Isn't this exactly the idea that everyone was saying was what this forum would stand for and be special because of it--being able to "bridge" or overcome the liberal-conservative divide?

That's what I remember being said so often a few days back. As Michie says, "Fellowship" is something every forum thinks it exists for, at least in part...but strictly within their own narrowly-defined camp, that is. Here we said we were onto something bigger.

After worship, we all went to Fellowship Hall for coffee and donuts. The kids got to play basketball in the adjacent gym. Good times.
