I saw this on another forum, and thought it might be interesting here.

Let's try not to debate it here though, eh? That would have to happen on the debate subforum.

I vote that Yeshua was the one who was resurrected from the dead physically.

Maybe the poll should be limited to Messianics- anyone
else answering is going to skew the results....

To be messianic is to believe that Yeshua is the resurrected King of Kings, so this thread is mote among believers. This thread can only invite controversy and thus end up in debate section or be closed.

I was hoping that everyone could vote, but not debate.

Like a snapshot of the thoughts of all the posters here.

Lazareth was physically raised from the dead after three days.
When Yeshua died 100 saints rose out of their tombs.
Yeshua was unique in that he rose directly into his glorified body, where as all the other came back to the same fleshly body and died again later. bummer.

Must be where all those walking mummy stories come from... LOL

Well you do represent your own group and view. I'd expect that in our group those who would take an alternate view would be Jews, Noahide and atheist.

hehe, I think its a given that Jews and Noachides don't believe Jesus was raised from the dead....
I think what might be in question from those on the outside is what MJ believes. As MJ is perceived to be this odd mixing of Judaism and Christianity, many are curious which beliefs MJ accepts from the Jews and which they accept from the Christians. Then, for that reason only, we should have the poll..

Good point
Was his glorified body a physical body as it appears to have migrated right through the linens he was wrapped in unlike lazareth that was needing to be loosed from his grave clothes.

People who post here not voting completely defeats the purpose.

This is meant for everybody. Just don't debate, vote.

All right, even though I still think it should be a
Messianic only poll, I'll go ahead and vote....
I'll leave it up to people to guess which way
I voted ;) :D

I'm interested in the what population of this forum- all posters- would think, not just those with MJ icons.

We will see what the demographics of our group is.

What made it so fun before the Schism was the demographics being so diverse

Blessed is he who having not seen yet believes.

Proof is only really enough evidence to compel assent, and therefore, is often is objectively relative to the recipients (hence, all members of a jury can see the same evidence yet disagree on a verdict).
