So if we post off topic we are actually on topic in this thread? What would we consider off topic as in actually derailing the thread then? It seems if we are on topic that would be off topic. Who started this thing?? lol

Here's something completely off topic. Did anyone here know that there was an earthquake in the
San Francisco area California last night? From what I understand there isn't
any injuries or much damage reported, praise God as it was a 5 point something on the scale.

How about this one?
No discussions needed. It is very simple. You are dying and going to hell. You need Jesus Christ in your life.
We had the best sermon tonight. Our pastor was so random for some reason but everything that came out of his mouth was like a jewel. That was one of the things he said.

Yep they did have one last nite. It was wierd becuz I just talked to my girlfriend who lives there a few hours before it hit.
A 5. is bad, but its not like horrific. No injuries or anything either. She'd of called me if it was really nasty.

Yes, I guess there wasn't much news on it as there was little damage reported and as far as I know, no one hurt. Again, praise God. Yes, it wasn't as bad as it could've been, that's for sure. It was a 5.6 on the scale. If it had occurred more inner city, the stats of damage/injury/fatality would sure have been different.
I remember when one hit in the San Francisco area in 1989 and a bridge collapsed. I had a friend who was visiting there at the time, but made it out okay. He was in the area of the bridge at the time. That one was a 6.9 on the scale. I don't recall which bridge it was though...
