Belinda has put a list together here...
Whilst we wait, let's work out a name for the place. After we get a few suggestions, I can post a poll.
I've seen:
The Meeting Place
The Ecumenical Forum
Waffle House
Other ideas?
I added "Fellowship Hall" to the list.
Any other ideas?

Some people didn't like Waffle House because they wanted to avoid the connotations, but some people liked it because it demonstrated an ability to laugh at themselves. So what about "The House of Pancakes" so that anybody who wants waffles can have waffles, but other people can select different items? :)

As opposed to Waffle House, I would propose IHOP, as there are very different connotations to it. :P
Seriously, though, maybe something like Ten Rulers (yes! An extremely random one!)
Ecclesiastes 7:17-19 (New International Version)

and do not be a fool—
why die before your time?

and not let go of the other.
The man who fears God will avoid all extremes .
19 Wisdom makes one wise man more powerful
than ten rulers in a city.

Although I do like the waffle theme...I think of people getting up in the morn and fellowshipping while downing their waffles and sippin' coffee. It has an intimate feel to it....like family...:)

Seriously, I would like to see something in the rules about once the rules/guidelines etc are set, then we need X amount of people expressing concern about the way X is done, thats while we are stuck with the wiki
Otherwise I can see all sorts of skull dugery and people changing rules if they dont like them
I dont care if there are only a couple of rules, however would like to see them protected, and things put into place so that the rules can not be changed at the drop of a hat because someone has packed a snit
Hope this makes sense. did a sleep over at work last night and as a result only got about 5 hours sleep

No love for wiki.
Wiki, no wiki, I don't care, so long as everyone has a chance to have input into the rules.
I can ask staff to close down that wiki if y'all like, but one thing I'm not certain about is this: in order for FSRs to be 'official' do they have to be snapshotted from a wiki?
Could be that no one cares how we get to the rules. Or there could be some protocol mandating wiki.
I don't know.

Hmmm...good question.
I think your right...they need to be put into a wiki.
I suppose we could always get our rules in order first. Then cut and paste them into your wiki...and have them snapshotted.

Since that's the system currently set up, let's definitely use it to however works best for this forum.
Now, if something mysteriously happens to the wiki as the new owner expands his influence...well, no love lost. :P ^_^

I don't think I could see the forum named IHOP without thinking of the Jim Gaffigan routine:
"Ever go to IHOP? I don't know why they call it IHOP. When I leave there I don't ever feel like hopping. They should call it, "I barely move." "I need a wheelchair."

Pretzels mostly. But there's Utz and Snyders which both make an immense range of crunchy, snacky things to eat.

I know the word "emergent" is trendy, but it would seem this collection of "moderates" is far more than just a gathering of misfits, but rather folks seeing the Way in another light...so maybe the name should reflect such, rather than just a misfit pidgeonhole;)

Cuz let's face it, you don't have much peace on the other few forums. Lots of people giving their mind's piece, or thinking one piece at a time, but no peace.
Other ones I like:
Square Pegs
Community Chalice
Hind's Feet in High Places (yes, I'm plagiarizing a book's title, but it works)
Tent Revival
The Fisherman's Net
the House of Many Mansions (Now THAT'S diverse)
The Mansion of Many Rooms (another take on above)
The Potter's Wheel
