Hi everyone,

This is the new forum for moderate Christians based on this request:

http://foru.ms/t6327406

PM me if you have any questions or concerns. I'll try to get some mods assigned here temporarily to help during transition. You're going to want to get started on rules/guidelines and membership.

Enjoy the new forum! :)

Blessings,
Letalis

Mmm, I don't know. I'm been a mod and/or admin on several other boards, but I hesitate to do it here. My style is more free form and I don't know that I could get along with the heavily rules-based way things are done here.

Wouldn't mind giving it a go if people are agreeable.
Was going to volunteer at CC - but was scared off!

But - if you need people - am willing to try.

I certainly hope not. I have WWMC membership and also applied to CC, since I have both liberal and conservative views, depending on the issue. CC has a no WWMC rule, so I had to withdraw my application. But here we can all get together. Coolness! :)

Very simply, it is wrong to put restrictions on membership based one's membership status with another congregational forum.

This is an ecumenical, not denominational, forum, and will be drawing on people from many different faith traditions.

I agree

Also - should we start (and sticky) a membership thread where folks can sign in and we have a "formal list?"

I do recommend doing this. That way, when you elect mods, I can determine who should be voting and who shouldn't. Without it, anyone can vote on your applications, which is fine if you're alright with that, but just a heads up.

I am just exploring the board at this time, looking for fruitful places to be.
