There is an amazing conference going on in Dallas next week. I think it's historic because it's the first time something like this has happened in America but I also think there is a prophetic move happening here because the Germans who are involved are all the sons of Nazis...except for the goddaughter of Adolph Hitler who will also be at this messianic jewish synagogue with Holocaust Survivors

Isaiah 60:14 "and the sons of those who afflicted you and all who have despised you will bow down..."

This sounds terrific! There are several folks participating in this who's ministry I totally trust :)

as for it happening on Halloween, I consider it the light taking back the darkness!

one person with whom I'm unfamilar is Boris Krysinko. I was unable to find a mention of him on the web that was not a quote from the event flier... does anyone know the name of his congregation?

I thought along similar lines , that is why I mentioned it. ;) I was thinking there was a connection too to the Holocaust but I looked it up and it was Oct 30th, that was the last day that the gas chambers in Auschwitz were used.

Well it is a day to remember the dead I suppose.

But Oct 31 is just another day to us. We are going to bake thanksgiving pies and cookies workshop as we look forward to Thanksgiving.

Some of my kids attend AWANA and they will be learning scriptures and doing stuffed animal night.

We don't have to hide in holes, we just don't celebrate that day religiously or by candy or costumes.

I forgot to say, Ted Pearces presentation on the Forgotten people ministry is great. They are trying to denounce the sins of their fathers both of omission and commision against the Jews, God's chosen people.

They aren't the only ones, I've witnessed it here in this country from German descendants, and it is quite powerful, I think more happens in the spiritual realm than actually what we see in the physical.

That sounds interesting. Is anyone from here going to it?
I wonder if it would be appropriate to take my 14 year old daughter to?

If I didn't have class 2 of those nights I would probably drive up from Houston to check it out, but as it is I will probably have to miss it.

Oct 31st is Reformation Day, a national holiday in Germany celebrating Martin Luther's protestant reformation

Pastor Bittner will have a few things to say that evening about the curse of anti-semitism which came to Germany through Luther.

The Gordon Liddy radio program is talking about the Forgotten People DVD and this conference today.

There will be a link to watch this live on the internet on the homepage of http://tedpearce.com but it isn't up there yet.

there will be LOTS of young people there. This same church turned my lukewarm oldest son into a burning bush!

This will profoundly challenge anyone who sees it.

I wish I could attend, it sounds as if it will be a phenomenal event. Will they only be visiting Texas while here in the states? Is there any connection with The Road to Jerusalem?

I am glad that you are taping this and will show it on your site for those that live too far away.

It can be a shock to see pictures of the Holocaust. 14 should be fine.

It has broader application too. We all need to stop being silent about the sins of our parents and own own sins and we need to make right what we can, change for the better what we can.

Is it the same thing repeated three nights in a row or is it a different presentation each night? I did not see a fee mentioned. Is it free? I will talk to my daughter about it because she has been wanting to go to the holocaust museum, but it is not in the JCC anymore but downtown now which is not nearly as convenient so I have not taken her there.
My daughter is a drama queen who cries easily - she was in tears when watching a documentary about teenagers and drug use.
Are you going all three nights?
I could only go on Thurs. so if you go on Wed, could you report about it here to help me see if we should go on Thurs?
Thank you.

Since he is the one putting it on I should think he would be there, ;) also probably too busy to get back here to post while this is going on.

I am praying for much healing here. We are also starting something similar in one of the churches around here tomorrow night.

I didn't hear any gruesome stories. I did hear some interesting stories, like the German soldier that warned a family to flee the country quickly.

We did not make it there last night - this week has been too busy with a boy scout paper airplane contest Monday night - my son won second place on distance and his plane might have gone further but it ran into someone's head, and PTA meeting and program Tues. night and Halloween Wed. night and we have a church home group meeting tonight and tomorrow afternoon and evening we have a church children and young people's outing. So, last night was our only night to all be home at the same time and not have somewhere we had to go.
I would like to hear a report on what it was about and how it was though.
