I don't feel it would be appropriate to call your friend.

I do promise to pray that you keep the strength you need to support your friend and I pray that your friend will seek help and find peace.

If you want to talk just message me or you could ask a chaplin for advice. There are some very good Chaplins on this site who have given me great help and support.

I am praying that the Lord will open your friends heart so that he may find the help he needs.

Assuming Brian is an adult, he must realise for himself that he needs help. Part of this might involve you stepping away from him, and letting him realise what state he is really in. This is not easy to do, and I do not know the details, but it might be worth considering. Sometimes the help we give is counter productive, because it gives the person permission not to change.

Just praying Lord, that you as always, as faithfully, intervene where your children have called for your help. Please Heavenly Father deliver Brian safely through whatever situation he is going through. May he see your guiding and healing hand .. may he reach out to his fellow christians who can counsel and help him. Amen
