I feel the time has come to say good-bye. For those that have given a kind word, thank you. If I have offended any one I wish to apologize. May God keep and bless you all.
Shalom

Oh, Callaway, Have we done something to offend you? We are so sorry, for you are a jewel and such a gem that we do not wish to lose you.

If, for some reason other than our behavior you have to go, I wish you all the best and remember us from time to time and stop in to say Hi.

How come you're leaving? Nothing we did, I hope.
Although we haven't seen much of you around
lately, we will miss you!

We are sad to see you go, but if it is what is best for you, then may HaShem guide and bless your path and may you find hapiness where you do go.

Shalom.

Hello,
Visionary no one has done anything to offend quite the contrary. To all that I have had the pleasure of speaking with in Messianic forum I commend you. Your faith is an inspiration. I pray that you never loose momentum or your witness. Chava I will miss your insight and openness. Your willingness and candor to discuss certain aspects of Orthodox Judaism is priceless. Because of your contribution and sincerity I feel that I have grown to be a better person, thank you. Berean we have not had a great deal of interaction but I wish you all the best, may God bless you. For me self evaluation is difficult. I have had several events in my personal life that has caused me to stop and reflect upon who and what I am. As a child I was raised as a Christian and throughout the better part of my adult life I have prescribed to the Christian faith. Unfortunately my area has 0 Messianic resources and only one Shul. I feel that in my quest to gain understanding and change my perspective I have lost a great deal of who and what I am. I have distanced myself from my family and friends because of my new found direction and a fear that I would be misunderstood. In my heart I don’t feel that such opposition would be encountered if it were the will of God. I have much to recapture. As one Rabbi said you don’t have to be Jewish to share in the “world to come”. I pray that from this point on that God will direct and guide me. I have the utmost respect for the Messianic and Jewish community.

David

Dont give up what you know to be right. My husband and I are just beginning to getting to grips with all things Messianic, I was raised as a Christian too. Sometimes I think that people will think I'm crazy, they way they look at me when I start talking about "that Jewish stuff". As they say in Galaxy Quest "Never give up, Never surrender"

Its difficult too, not seeing yourself as christian no longer, and a bit scary, but in the end the freedom gained will be worth it, and more people are starting to see through the distortions of faith that have been propagated over these last two thousand years, but we're nearly there now.

Galatians 5v7 "You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. A little yeast works through a whole batch of dough. I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be."

Don't forget to double check your sources.

Speaking of Galatians:

Gal 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Gal 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

http://www.noahide.org (http://www.noahide.org/)Remember not all things Jewish are good for the soul. What every you do, ask Yeshua to lead. Remember He had controversies with some of the theologies and attitudes of his brethren in his day, and so do not be surprised that He moves upon your heart to hold those same standards as He did.

Sometimes in the chase back to the origin we are under the impression that all things Jewish is good and end up casting Yeshua out because His brethren have.

Just like Joseph was sold to Egypt and found to be in the perfect place when the famine comes so it will be again for His brethren to come before Him and receive a blessing for having such a brother, one they thought dead, and they will realize is alive afterall this time.

Gal 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? He who has lead you by faith this far will continue to lead, and never forget Him. He is trusting you to navigate new territory [really the old that He already covered], so if He has faith in you, have faith in Him to take you through the last connections before He returns.

We are coming full circle in the understanding of faith, this wonderful woven fabric of hebrew, faith and rehearsals, and His law within His Life for us to live by His Spirit. Now there is the beauty and the challenge.
