I need prayer. My church needs prayer. For an extended period of time my church has been under attack from every side. There has been accidents, sicknesses and mulitudes of difficulties in leadership, people leaving etc. etc. I can't even begin to tell you of all the challenges that we have had. But after two solid years of endless attack I became so frustrated and weary that I decided as prayer leader to throw in the towel. So I wrote up my resignation and gave it to my Pastor and left the church for a brief period. That was approximately two months ago. Then after many people from the church were calling me, coming and visiting me I decided to come back. The pastor started focusing on a month of prayer emphasis with me putting together teachings on the first Sunday of the month about spiritual warfare and prayer. This was followed by deeper teachings on the Wednesday nights. These meetings were supposed to be videotaped by my son who was just taking over the media ministry. My son is only 18 years old. Just graduated from high school. Well, the videotapes mysteriously disappeared. I asked three women in the church to start interceding and praying for me. One of them is currently at Stanford medical Center undergoing tests to see whatever is wrong. She has been put on a back board and is suffering severe pain of an unknown origin. She has undergone a multitude of tests and the doctors cannot find out what is wrong. Another of these women fell at work and broke her wrist and is in terrible pain also.
There has been many personality conflicts, strife in our midst. It has been exhausting for me and our leadership. Please pray for our church body. We need help. A loosing of healing virtue. Thank you.

I have lifted you and your church up in prayer to our Mighty God, Jesus Christ. May Jesus sift through the wheat and the tares and expose truth. Father, please end the strife and may you bring these believers together as one in unity - worshipping you in spirit and in truth. Amen. Hang in there! Jesus is about to do His miracle :-)

The response particularly from Soulsforchrist blesses me immensely. Yesterday, I was feeling very low. I have been a prayer leader in this church for thirteen years. And there are days when I just get tired out. Yesterday was one of those days. I led a prayer meeting last night. Let's just say it was a challenge. There was one individual there who has been giving me and several others in the church a hard time. And I felt very nervous but the Lord was with me. His presence came into that place and there was just an anointing. It was very beautiful. However, I would continue your continued prayers because many of our leaders are just very tired out including myself. Thank you for your encouragement. May the Lord bless you all.

Lord please hear this church's pleas, please hear them in their hour of need. Renew their strength and grace in your name. Let this congregation feel your almighty presence. I pray against the attacks on health, technical equipment, loss of faith - I pray that they are guided by one vision in your name. Cover their walls, doors, windows and floors with your Blood that you shed so that we may have everlasting life. May they be fully protected and that their congregation grow. may they seek out all that is unholy that may have found its way into your domain. May they rebuke it and call your Presence to reign supreme at all times. Thank you. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

heavenly father ....... you hear the needs of prayergal ...... and the help she seeks. Grant your protection please Lord, over her church and the ministry she is involved in ..... give your protection there Lord and keep them from any attack. Lead each one into a greater awareness of your truth Lord, of your ways ... and help them to stand. Lord we pray for healing for those who have been injured or taken ill; and we pray for guidance for this congregation. We ask your will and guidance; and thank you that you are near! In Jesus Mighty name, amen

My former church went through a period much like the one you described. I left shortly before the strife.
It was a difficult time for the ministry as a whole the elders were investigated for fraud and people within the church were treated very badly.
Things like you described began to happen (I am not for one second suggesting your situation is the same).
My church did survive and is stronger than ever and many of the mistakes that were made were attoned for.
I believe the church survived because of the faith and prayers of those who stuck it through.
I sincerely pray it will be the same for you and your church.
My thoughts and prayers are with you :groupray:

I want to thank each of you for your prayers. I was very desperate when I put that post up. Things had become very, very hard. But I went on a women's retreat and the Lord very intimately spoke to me while I was there through the gift of prophecy. And I returned revitalized and ready to work. Furthermore, the Lord has given me a wonderful assistant who helps me with typing and tomorrow we are going to clean up the prayer room. We had a beautiful prayer vigil on Halloween. (that's a big deal to me) And we will be having an all-night prayer vigil this next Friday. So I'm excited. God is moving.
Thank you for your concern.

Thanks be to Jesus through whom all things are possible.
Thank you God for giving prayergal the prophetic vision for her church. Lord Jesus, we lift them up during their vigil that they will be fully protected by your angels while doing their all night prayers. Thank you Heavenly Father. Amen.

Father, I lift up Your struggleing children before You. You know everything that's going on. I ask for Your protection over this church. Help them to be strong in their faith and to continue praying and focus on You.
Carry them through this, bring them closer to You and let them know Your plans so they can do Your work.
In Jesus name, Amen.
