Item not equipping . . .

I just had a question about an item not loading. I have the pink sneaks that aren't showing up on my character. It shows that i have it equipped on my character, only 3 items are equipped. My shirt, pants and shoes. yet the pink sneaks are showing up. I have unequipped the sneaks and have the mesh shoes equipped only. I bought the sneakers a while ago, so it isn't a problem with a restock. Does anyone have any ideas?

So you had them equipped but you couldn't see them on the character? Do you see them in your inventory? Not just the name, but the picture as well?

No the picture isn't showing up, just the name.

ok this happened to snoochface with her sleep mask the other day (ironically also a pink item ^_^)... what worked for her was clearing her cache files and logging back in.
