I just came back from a messianic jewish service at an Episcopal Church. They incorporated traditional jewish liturgy into the service. They seem to be having a positive impact on the Jewish Community for Christ.

Christianity already does a great deal of this, but most folks are unaware of synagogue and temple worship.

I often attend services at a Reform Synagogue with a close friend. He and I were Scout leaders together and one of our Cub Scouts (his middle son) has now become a Conservative Rabbi. Through the years we have attended weddings, funerals, bar mitzvas, High Holy Day services and even a Temple Bris.

very true! The procession with the Bible at the begining of church, and reading the Gospel from the Center of the room are also found in synagogue worship.

This thread is encouraging to me.
To tell you the truth, my initial reply (above) may have sparked a great deal of problems for me, but I have to tell you, the Church needs to accomodate us more (but not change itself too radically in the process) by giving us more pastoral care when we convert to Christianity.
But, I'm just yappin'.
