For my worship none of the varieties in the poll fit me. I use ambiance, Instrumental, New Age, and Celtic; but none of those fit the varieties above, which you can see. Shame though, there should have been an OTHER choice. I also practice meditation and drumming as a part of worship, those also weren't mentioned. Music is a large part of worship, again, I only wish the choices had a wee bit more flexability. Just my opinion.

What music do you listen to?
Mainly secular pop/rock, but I also listen to most of the other styles listed. The radio station I usually listen to is a Christian-run community radio station with a mix of Christian and secular music, but I also listen to other stations,
Is praise & worship part of your daily devotional?
I guess you mean the music style that's been labelled praise & worship, because praise & worship of our God should be an integral part of our daily lives. I have found that I can praise & worship God through many different styles of music, not necessarily Christian music either.

i go to school by school bus and we always listen to the radio there(i get to be the dj=)
it's hard for me to start the day with praise'n'worship cuz after i listen to these people sing praises to our Lord, no other music can match up to it! And since i dislike almost all russian christian music and have only 1 Sonicflood cd i carry around with me, it means that after listening to it i can't listen to anything else at all because it feels so. . .unworthy! =)

My taste in music runs the gamut. For Christmas I got Queen's greatest hits and the soundtrack for Narnia. Being raised on country (my mother) and Metallica and Black Sabbath (my father), I'll listen to nearly anything. I prefer rock, hard rock, metal, classic rock, that sort of things, and I won't tolerate rap. Praise and worship actually isn't a popular one with me... It's just doesn't have the originality that secular music does. (I do so love the Guns 'n' Roses guitar solos!)

Most of what I listen to is Christian rock/alternative. I have a few secular bands sprinkled in. My fave bands are Jars of Clay, Lifehouse, Relient K, Chris Tomlin in the way of Christians. I grew up listening to The Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, Jackson Brown, Mary Chapen Carpenter...etc.

I mostly listen to praise and worship music and the old hymns of the faith......but I also like listening to contemporary christian music as well from time to time and Some secular love mushy soft rock type music on occasion deppending on the beat of the music and the lyrics.
I sometimes though I don't like it much will llisten to Christian heavy metal with my husband ..... It tends to make me nervous......if the music is louder than the words I don't listen to it.

The only type of musi I hate is pop music, any type of pop music, whether its pop rock, pop rap, pop punk or any pop music. There is no meaning in pop music, they only do it for the money, not for the music

I checked everything there except Heavy Metal. I am a music lover, and I can appreciate and find the good in just about any kind of music for one reason or another. Most of this new music coming out today is just horrible though. Jazz is the only kind of music that really stays true to its roots in my opinion. Soul & Jazz will always be at the center of my heart.

I've listened to Christian pop and rock having no idea what it was, not paying attention to the words, and sometimes hearing the words and not actually putting them together to form a meaning, causing my non-Christian friends to occasionally ask what on earth I was doing listening to *that*! And sometimes when bored and looking for new stuff to listen to getting sick of the top 40 stuff I've been known to pull up a Christian radio feed on iTunes, just for something different.

There's much more types of music then that is mentioned. What about electronic, electroclash, d n b, idm, ambient, musique concrete, kraut rock, indie rock, free jazz, funk, soul, blues, outsider music, avant garde, art rock, psychedelic rock, punk, garage, grunge, industrial, lounge/exotica, brazillian, gamelan, ethnic, reggae, calypso. surf rock or many more? Just because music excludes Christ doesn't mean it includes Satan. There's a lot of music out there that isn't out there to make you evil.

Depends on my mood. Usually Pop, Christian Pop and Classical.
On the radio I listen to a pop station (family oriented) morning show because I love the personalities. Then I'll swtich to Christian pop.
At home, we listen to classical.
