Amen, better know God and have faith or I have a feeling it will be hard to survive. BTW do you think we stirred this section up enough or should we pick another topic?

lol I'm all for all kinds of topics Bill. I hope to make a few today maybe... just trying to think of some, one comes to mind, but I have to run feed my pets real quick.
I invited someone to ccc & will try to invite some more -
I'd really like to see it build up here again. but I have noticed a large decrease in CF attendance recently too.
Lots not online lately - I hope they didn't leave permanently?

Good morning, fellow boardies!! How is everyone on this wonderful, gorgeous, day?? We are all awake and breathing, right? Let's thank God for another day.
Thank you Lord for blessing me with another day with my husband and children. Thank you for allowing me to serve you and worship you this fabulous day!!

hmm, I hadn't heard that there was going to be one. But that would be awesome depending on how it's done

My grandson Luke and I plan on going to see it - Logan (not quite 4) thinks the trailers look scary so he's not so sure.
I thought LW&W was well done so am looking forward to the sequel.

went to see the spiderwick chronicles yesterday.
I have free movie tickets at the moment and am hoping the second narnia movie comes out before they expire

Spiderwick was more frightening than I expected... my 8 year old ended up on my lap!
Very much looking forward to Prince Caspian... we have the video of the old BBC version, which was good for the time... I'm sure the film will be better, tho.

I took my grandboys (ages almost 4 & 7). The 7 year old loved it (what he saw of it). The 3 3/4 year old moved from his seat to my lap about 1/3 through the movie, 10-15 minutes later he got off my lap and started walking out of the theater. Obviously Lukas and I got up and left with him.
So - haven't seen the end of it yet - Lukas and I will rent the DVD shortly.
As far as how was it - what we saw was quite good. Logan (the youngest) has seen lots of fantasy movies in the past and his parents thought he would be fine with Spiderwyck Chronicles. I think that he was put off because all the lead characters were children and he could identify with them more closely. But in his words, it was "vewy scawy!"

We hardly ever go to the movies. Cannot find any good ones. LAst one we saw was Chipmunks, ONLY because it was Christmas and there was nothing else to do.
