View Full Version : Fiction with an Anglican Twist

My pastor and mentor during my ordination process knows of my admiration for Anglicanism and recently recommended that I read the Matthew Shardlake trilogy (Dissolution, Dark Fire, Sovereign) because they are mysteries set during Reformation-era England.

Anybody read them, and if so, do you recommend them?

Are there any other fiction books with an Anglican twist? (Narnia and Wrinkle in Time have theological undertones and are written by Anglicans, of course).

Friend IowaLutheran,

Good to see you. I was in your area a couple of weeks ago but didn't have enough notice to set up a meeting for a cup of coffee or something. Maybe next time.

The lunch at Old Milwaukee was more expensive and not as good as it used to be, but the fire suppression system in the library book return has been repaired...

;o)

Hello - My office is just a few blocks from the Milwaukee Weiner Shop!

Good to know about the library - I was just appointed by the City Council to be on the Library Board of Trustees.
