but only for a month...
I'm leaving to go to Finland Sunday and my checking in will be limited. Get to spend two and a half week at New Valaam monastery, first taking a color in iconography class and then another class in silk embroidery.

If you need to reach me, please email me as it's difficult to get to my PMs on the cell and I can't get on a computer every day. Emails I can check easily on the phone.

Have a good one!!! I'll be back around the last days of October!

Yea, I know... fortunately my frequent flier card documents the dates very well... :D Plus when I asked the person at immigration office she was like, oh don't worry, just estimate.

Do we get to vote on your citizenship application?

Haha, no, about to take the old body to bed and get some sleep. I got in about 2pm local (7 hrs ahead of EST) so it's well past 10 here now and I'm going to see if I'll get some sleep.
So far I've picked up my new passport and my new glasses... not much else.

Good night!

I am glad you made it safe. How are all of the Finns in Finn-land?

Dude it's not Greenland or Siberia. I believe they've had flurries way up north but that's about 900 miles north from where I am now. We might see some flurries at the monastery as it's about 400 miles north and a bit east (aka more inland) but it's been about 55-60 and some showers. Not too shabby actually for this time of year, but it's supposed to get cooler toward the end of the week. Of course it now being October the stores have turned on the heat so it's hot inside with a jacket but too cool outside to not wear one. Can't win...
Been in Helsinki most of the day and got some errands run. Tomorrow I get to meet up with a fishing buddy of mine who I haven't seen for a bit more than a year. Plus it's his bday in a few weeks and I don't have to mail it either now...
