Thanks for letting me use you all as my sounding board...

A few days ago I had typed up a report on an investigation I had done in Houston (I'm a fire investigator), and yesterday I went in and couldn't find it under the file name. I thought I'd have to rewrite the ENTIRE REPORT over again.

This morning I tried one last thing in desperation to save time. I looked through previous report files under different names, and FOUND my report under "McPherson", which is NOT our insured on this case, but had apparently used this report as a template for my new report, and FAILED TO "SAVE AS" under the NEW file name.

Talk about relief, liberation and utter ecstasy!

I don't know what do with myself right now... LOL

Oh, what a relief!

Must be similar to what I go through about 3 times weeks, looking frantically for my keys/wallet/purse, and the joy when I finally locate them. :doh:
