Question to the mods...

There was no explanation on why it was closed and by who so I'm assuming it wasn't at the request of the OP... (Xpy, I guess you can confirm one way or the other on that).

Just wondering since the moderating was supposed to be more open now... :scratch: Especially since some of the threads we have going right now (bcp) are much more fiery....

Honestly I don't know why. I THOUGHT it was fine. Perhaps something more went on behind the scenes that we are unaware of. However, it would be nice to know what happened so I can avoid it in the future.

Honestly, I don't want to come across as one of those people who has a chip on his shoulder because a mod "did him wrong". I don't feel that I was done wrong. Even if I don't agree with the decision to close what wasn't MEANT to be disrespectful or offensive, I will totally respect the decision (unless the mod said to me "because I don't like you" or something like that, lol). I would just like to be told what happened. I put a lot of work into that poll thread! lol ;)

Anyway, I'm not asking for it to be opened and I am not demanding anything. And I don't feel slighted because quite frankly I respect all of the people here who are mods and I have always felt respected by them even when they were but lowly posters and nothing more ;)

What's passed is the past. :)

I guess it was controversial. But not intended to disrespect anyone's opinion (although the poll was limited to Orthodox votes, but comments were open to all).

All I ask is that if someone PMed a mod and expressed being offended by it, that the thread be deleted so I don't (unintentionally) look like a jerk to other guests who come by. :)
